saw a video of some lady getting tested for the rona earlier and they basically shoved a giant q-tip up her nose into her brain and had to keep it there for a minute
really feel like if we had that as mandatory viewing, looped 24/7 over the air, then more people would avoid doing blatantly dumb things that could expose them
I saw the one where someone declared how obvious it was that they were inserting microchips #markofthebeast

That is EXACTLY how it was done @nasopharyngeal swab. It's an uncomfortable experience.1 -

That is what's been on my mind the last two days and honestly it's been such a nice break from our new reality but I got some disturbing news last night.
My 82 yr old mom, who was forgetting to take her meds and or that she even had any left after my sister picked up a ninety day supply ....when she gets anxious she forgets to even eat properly ....she has just survived breast cancer and has high blood pressure etc....but lives a relatively independent life in a condo of a senior living environment .....we decided since my sister was home and both her and her hubby and two small kids have been home working and out of school for weeks that mom would be best there as she has the room and is closest etc. All has been perfect the past week her memory was much better ...her eating and meds all spot on.
My sister called me last night...
My brother inlaw came down with a fever, chills, headache and shortness of breath the other day.....
We basically moved my mom out of the pan and into the fire 😣
If we do everything right and still cant keep safe then how the hell can these front line folks and the very vulnerable remain safe with smoke and mirrors they are provided 💔
Its so discouraging and the bottom line is decisions will be made....then revised and re-revised again til we get better protection for those in need, we ALL social distance and we find a vaccine and/or a cure.🙏
Until then all I can do is pray...it comforts me and is all I can do while feeling so helpless to help....
Cyber hugs and elbow bumps my friends....I wish you all well!❤
Hugs Ali 🤗 I hope mum is ok and BIL is better soon

One of my best friends, who is a RN at a large hospital, sent me a pic of herself with her protective gear on with the caption, "Ready for action". It really hit me hard. Both the efforts they are going through to try and protect themselves (and their families, and other patients) from getting sick, and also the warrior mentality, that despite the fact that she is putting herself in danger, she is ready to fight another day to take care of really sick people who need her help.
I'm sure I am not the first person to post this type of thing, but I feel we owe so many people our gratitude for what they do.
That's what's on my mind. Thanks for listening.
🙌💗....so true!!! I know I feel so humbled and in awe of their strength and perseverance....i too have a bestie and a sister inlaw RN & NP....neither has had many breaks and hate those damn paper bags... 💔😣....they just go into work mode they say making due with what they have is beyond difficult and don't or cant think about it until shift is over ....true hero's 💗1 -

Are you in the states? It seems like you aren’t but i can’t remember. It’s bad over here right now. And I don’t even mean because we are crushing the coronavirus numbers game.
People are losing their damn minds.
At best you have the odd Death Rate Specialist who insists this virus is not to be feared because more people have died from other causes. They are relatively harmless and mostly just inflict their terrible math on us in the form of a facebook post that usually looks something like this: “Can someone help me with the math here because I don’t see how a harmless virus that only affects 20% of the population and has only killed 30,000 people is that big a deal” They are not actually asking for help, of course.
It generally goes downhill from there. I mean a substantial portion of the population (substantial = any number greater than one imo) believes that the government is lying to them or that the pandemic is a hoax or that this is all being overblown to take their rights away. They think if they eat herbs that they’ll be immune and that it’s criminal that hospitals aren’t just injecting people with vitamin C. An astonishing number of people believe that viruses aren’t even real, and that the symptoms of the so-called “coronavirus” are in fact due to 5G exposure. Some think that everything is just a conspiracy to get Trump out of office because Jesus sent him to fix everything Obama did wrong. People are coughing on others on purpose as a form of terrorism (yes really) and some dude tried to drive a train into the USS Mercy because he wanted to save the citizens from the nefarious government plot he was certain was unfolding inside. A man murdered a cop because he was afraid the cop had the virus when he pulled him over.3 -
Lost my ability to edit for some reason so I had to post what I had written. Anyway, just wanted to wrap up by asking if this sort of thing is happening in other countries?0

Currently? Being reminded that I have no friends. I was isolated before this incident and I remain isolated because of it. I have family I talk to once a week and that's about it. Anyone else I talk to is an acquaintance. If I died tomorrow, no one would mourn my loss outside of family.
Not that I haven't tried to make nice and be friendly to people.. I'm just a bit player in all aspects of life, apparently. Not worth befriending or really getting to know.
I guess it doesn't really matter since it's not exactly like I could go hang out with friends at the moment, anyway. Couldn't go spreading germs everywhere just for the sake of camaraderie. Ah well.5 -

I think the lack of day to day human interactions has made me more personable and social on the rare occasion I come across another human. It's odd.
Will this process turn me into an extrovert.1 -
