Would dinosaurs eventually have developed intelligence like ours?

You'd think 180 million years, if they hadn't by then, probably not...

Hominids developed intelligence in less than 4 million...

Sharks have been around over 300 million years and have not developed intelligence...

Are we a product of evolution or more so a freakish anomaly? And what does this say for the odds of intelligent life elsewhere?

Maybe the sharks are too intelligent to bother creating intelligence like ours.

My kid screaming like I am inflicting unholy and massive amounts of pain on her...... when I am trying to get the tiny splinter that is turning into a cyst or one of those puss balls you get with ingrown hairs, out of her finger.
    I failed, btw.
She screamed so hard she almost made herself vomit. And I barely did anything. No needle. No tweezers. Nothing.
Its still there. Been a month now.

Now I feel like a failure because I didn't get it out.
I feel like a failure because I apparently am a monster that hurts her child.

Pardon me while I drown my tears in some booze for a little while....

Warm Epsom salt soaks or poultice 2-3 times a day is an island remedy almost every Pac Island parent used in the 80s to soften the wound site & drain out the pus . Way better than constantly changing warm compresses.

Or if you have diluted tea tree oil? Always good to reduce inflammation. Warm the oil as you would a hair hot oil treatment. Then ask your wee one to dunk her finger in it until the warmth is gone from the tea tree oil. 2x times a day too until the pus drains. (If it is in a weird location, soak a cotton ball, spread it over the pus site and lightly hold it there, or she can).

The prospect of the Coronavirus inquiry.
The CCP resistance to the whole thing. Everything about the origins of the virus smells fishy. I dunno but it feels like we’re heading into something big here and I like the think I’m not a tinfoil...

You gotta do things for nuggets. Even then, it’s not a guarantee.
