Disagrees with my opinion on everything.
You know what?
I DON’T CARE 😂
MFP really thought that out. 🙄
Seriously, what the heck are they thinking?
Why have any negative response?
If someone wants to disagree they can come out from the shadows and just say it to your face, so to speak.
Not going to get into it but they're not called haters. They're called adult who act like children 😆 Don't even get bothered by 1 hater. Look at all of us who love you 🤗

Is this MFP like the MFP of two or three years ago? Who's still around from back then? And what are you up to? And have you made it through the 2020 rollercoaster (at least almost) unscathed?
I hope y'all did.
Some of us never left.
I've been around on and off since 2017 or so. Nice to see you again.
Hey there, nice seeing you too! Hope you've been goodExpressoLove11 wrote: »SabAteNine wrote: »How does one "come back" while setting no expectations whatsoever, like a wise and realistic adult?

I've been here since 2013 but now under a new profile 🧐 2020 seemed to change things a lot in here
Yeah, I figured as much. People come, people go, but then there's also waves of stuff happening "in the real world" which make a lot of folks deactivate. Still, some come backMiss_Chiev0us_ wrote: »SabAteNine wrote: »How does one "come back" while setting no expectations whatsoever, like a wise and realistic adult?

Last flag retirement ceremony I was afforded the opportunity to participate in since leaving Quantico. We had so many flags some years we had to have 2 or even three ceremonies.

Hello old friend! I was remarking earlier today how little I know about Memorial Day (in Canada, we have Remembrance Day in the fall). Can you share why there's a flag on fire here?

Hello! @MaltedTea!
I did look up our allies and if the celebrate Memorial Day the same as us because I wanted to honor them too.
These are retired flags which are no longer fit for service. They are on a condition that they are no longer fit to be displayed. Old , frayed, faddd, etc. The preferred way of retiring them is by burning.
There are mostly U.S. flags but there were also local, state, and flags from each branch of the military too.
We had an old post box which people dropped them in and twice a week myself or another veteran emptied the box snd stored them until the ceremony.
Normally the Boy Scout troop we sponsored, and I was the assistant scout master of, would set everything up and two scouts would participate with the legion officers and honor guard to conduct the ceremony.
After we policed up the eyelets and some of the legion auxiliary women made flag keychains out of them. Something like this except the ring was a retired flag eyelet and they made them from beads.

@tmanthree and @Motorsheen Thank you for the background! After some Googling, Canadians sometimes do something similar but it's not as formal as the event @tmanthree described.
To my American buddies out there: thank you for your service and/or the service of your loved ones!4 -
Thank you @MaltedTea
I did. I looked up yall.
I set a reminder. If I’m still around November 11 imma salute your country too.5 -

Those little snack packs of cannoli chips and dip I found in my local grocery store the other day when I was shopping for fruit but I was starving and ended up buying more junk than I care to admit bc I shopped hungry and this is a PSA to not shop when you're hungry bc you end up buying all the yummy garbage you're not supposed to buy and then you're left laying in bed regretting your poor choices kinda not so much because damn they were so good11

I thought I was ready for this mask off thing but I just now panicked because I couldn’t do all the weird mouth *kitten* I used to do under my mask. How do I cope now? 😅5

I don’t want to cause a serious problem but lack of communication is forcing me to use the only option available to me.
I wish it was different and don’t understand why it isn’t.

Finally, contacted for a second interview! 😀😬
Well I might have to hold off if they want me to start right away because I have a doctor’s appointment and if I quit my job there goes my insurance. 😕6 -
I would be the person to have the very violent reaction to receiving the Covid vaccine.
I spent last night shivering so violently that I made myself cry and trying to regulate my breathing so I wouldn't hyperventilate. I had 5 blankets and was still cold, couldn't feel my fingers or toes (they went numb) and was running a low temperature. Also, the headache was awful.
I have newfound empathy for people who unfortunately get Covid.9
