    My boy's interview on Friday!!!

The fact that your boy has an interview tells me I've been here way too long

    Good luck to him!

I NO LONG AM EXCEPTING ANY FRIEND REQUESTS, BECAUSE I MAY NOT BE STAYING WITH THIS SITE, NOTHING HERE ANYMORE.

There’s no point on sending or accepting FR’s anymore.

Agreed. I got one recently after my feed disappeared and I saw no point in accepting. I'm definitely not looking to be chatting it up on messages either. Although,I don't know if that feature is still available. I just know my current friends are slowly deleting their pages 😢

😂🤣. He's 16 and it's for a volunteer position but it's in a area he'd like to pursue post secondary so it would be awesome for applications haha

I really dig the smell of Sharpies. Which is surprising to me because I didn't eat Playdo or sniff glue as a child. That would explain it, right? Or maybe not. Maybe one thing has nothing to do with the other. Perhaps it was the paint chips? Idk. Something tells me it's asbestos related.

    Whatever

Eh - prolly lead based paint but idk

Looks like the social aspect of mfp has finally imploded. I checked out “lose it”. Didn’t like it. So I will continue to use mfp for what i originally downloaded it for (logging food).

For those friends of mine that venture in here and see this, take care and I hope you guys enjoy lose it or which ever platform you land on.

I’ll still pop in here until the habit fades away I’m sure.

    🤗😘

Good to know about the other app. i plan to stick on here and use it for what i intended. log workouts/calories/etc.

I guess maybe i'm just old school, but the social side to me is to actually interact with other people (i.e. messaging and the like). i was never into the "post everything for the world to see and people to comment on". I would much rather have a friends list of people on here that i enjoy talking to one on one or even bantering back and forth with in the forums. give me something more than just a "like" or profile comment please.

Again, maybe that's just me. i'm happy to chat with anyone!

Considering just looking after my daughter and mother on my own again.. employing carers the past few years has just been more hassle for me and not doing anything they’re supposed to.. if you want something done right .. do it yourself.. not like I have a life anyway or anyone to share it with.

How do people get over the fact that they are in random peoples urine when they are in pools

All I see is a toilet bowl. I wish I was the type that didn't care.

    I understand!
I have a 96yr old mother and a 60yr old brother with cerebral palsy living at mom’s house.
We finally found a helper that we really like but it’s been tough to get to this point.

So frustrating isn’t it .. I just want to get myself back stronger and healthier so I can do it myself.. much less stress lol

Thanks ladies. It meant we had to beat our other friends who collectively are much better skaters. We won based on our performance. One person in our trio is 67 so not a bad showing at all

Vistibular Maigraine is running wild today, so staying pretty close to anything I can hold on to. Very dizzy and disorganized.

Oops, went 400 calories over today. Not sure but I had a case of the hungries apparently.
Got enough protein but that didn’t seem to matter.
