*kitten*. The way of the woman. That's the way of the passive aggressive. It's man or woman.
Lol that is true. However, in my experience what with working in a female dominated profession and all, the majority of the culprits are women. The same goes for the many other workplaces & professions I've worked over the years...8/10 times that behaviour come from a woman.
Don't get me wrong I'm not saying all women are like that. That would be sexist.
This made me Lol .."over the years" are you 50? You make it sound like youve been working for 30 years ...arent you less than 30? ..
Yes it often is women ..but having worked in a male dominated world fisty cuffs are more likely than words
Yep I'm 29, but I've been working since I turned 13 and I've had 4/5 major. professions now..and worked in various work places upward of almost triple figures now. I've managed mixed teams of 30 and been supervisor more times than I can count. So yes, I am very very well experienced.
You make the cardinal sin of assuming that age = experience and/or wisdom.
I can assure you I have met as much stupid old people as I have young.
What did you do at 13?
I'd say a valid assumption given most people are not near as accomplished as you ..well done ..
Is there a reason for the constant changes?
My observation still stands in the workplace in regards to men and women ..women can be catty but men tend to get physical.
I don't consider young or old or anyone for that fact stupid ..just a different perspective to mine .. ..meaning wrong
Lol its not good or valid to assume stuff about people, that's a slippery slope to prejudice/positive&negative discrimination.
Especially when assuming something like experience, mental capacity etc etc. It's impossible to tell on such limited information e.g. age.
I change because I get bored easily and i no longer found them intellectually stimulating.
The stupid thing was just an example lol I didn't think anyone would take that seriously
I agree about the catty women and physical men. That was kinda my point in the first place. (not the men part but meh)
Oh and you assume I do that to all people ..not so only you ..I assumed you could not possibly had many years experience in female dominated workplaces due to your age...and I still say you are more accomplished and had apparently many more jobs than the average ..
Now to stop hogging the thread ..
Whats on my mind..the burger and chips Im making for lunch
I didn't say all people. I simple said "people". I wasn't assuming anything just simply pointing out that it's not good to assume stuff in general
Also yes I agree, the threads isn't really about this anyway, I don't even know why it was a discussion you basically agreed with my statement lol.
and I get notifications No pouncing here, just in between sets.
On my mind now, well reports for work, my legs hurt from squats and I'm hungry.

I wish 1/2 of people were diurnal and 1/2 of people were nocturnal. That way there would be 1/2 the amount of people out and about at any given time (less traffic, shorter lines at Starbucks, etc.), and there would also be people around to play with me when I'm up at 4am.

One of my best friends has 2 girls affected by Cystic Fibrosis. They were diagnosed 13 years ago. The girls were 5 and 2 at that time. As my friend sat there crying, worried about how her life was changing and possibly losing not just 1 but both of her girls down the road, I said to her, "We can sit here and cry or we can be proactive." It was then we started Team Hope and have become one of the top fund raising teams for Cystic Fibrosis every year since in our area. Her oldest, now 18 years old is holding on for dear life. Her lungs are giving out. She spends more time in the hospital than at home. She told me just last week she is not ready to die. I can't get those words out of my head. Last night she got listed for a double lung transplant. It can happen at any moment. I just hope with all my soul her lungs hold out till new ones are available for her. Yet, it is so bittersweet. As someone that has had to bury her own child I know that pain. And this girl who is like one of my own can't get new lungs without someone else having to bury their child. I have so many mixed emotions and have been on the verge of tears since last week when I found out that my friend's daughter doesn't have much time with her own lungs. Knowing she is listed brings some relief and no matter what happens I will not stop fighting, raising money and bringing awareness for Cystic Fibrosis.5

This is heart wrenching. The loss of a child is the worst thing any parent will have to deal with in their lifetime, speaking from experience. I know my words do not mean a hill of beans in retrospect of what is happening, but I am a firm believer that everyone no matter how big or small their contributions are, it all matters.
I sincerely hope that she gets a life saving lung transplant and very very soon. Its Christmas time and what would be a better gift of life?
I know you are sad, and your pain is great, and the feeling of hopelessness is intolerable, keep doing what you are doing.. you are a saint in my book2 -

Thank you for your sweet words! Definitely is joyful and painful at the same time. I am sorry you also know the pain of losing a child. Unfortunately only those that have been through can truly understand it. I do hope so hard that she has new lungs before Christmas even if it means my friend is in the hospital with her oldest on Christmas and the other two are home with grandma.1 -
