Life is hard sometimes, but no matter what you go through, you end up moving on. Then you face new challenges, meet new people, learn to be patient, try to understand others as well as hidden parts of you...but not once you forget about the people from the past. They may not be important to us anymore, but memories stay. They never go away. They're a reminder of how far we've come - both a blessing and a curse.

Today, I had to show my coworker how to use a ruler. I wonder how many other people have no idea how it works.

In the book I'm reading, humans are communicating with aliens by using math. I would totally get us all killed or, best case scenario, ignored for being too dumb.
I should really try to fix that. I think at this point it's a self-imposed limitation from always telling myself that I'm bad at math.
