Flowers....do they feel pain when we pick them?

If trees could scream, would we be so cavalier
about cutting them down? We might, if they
screamed all the time, for no good reason.

Love this quote, and this also gave me a random memory of the episode of rick and morty where they’re looking for a planet similar to earth and they think they found it but when the sun comes up it screams all day :joy::joy:

Got called about a Stinger test drive. May do that this weekend!

    https://youtu.be/63-lib0iKRE

let me know ur thoughts. its a great car for the price vs competitors. im tired of people saying" but its a kia"

the stinger is priced fairly for the performance so im really looking forward to unbiased opinions

Yeah, and I get that "it's a KIA" thing though. You can build all kinds of cars to rival performance specs, but how well do they marry it with quality build, comfort, etc. will be what I am interested in.

What happened to Waddles and Jones?? Or was it Jones and Waddles?

I think it was CJones and CWadles or something

Yes but I renamed them Waddles and Jones and it stuck. :)

Should we check up on them? See if they are still inspired?

Heard a rumor that Hyundai bought Kia and now one of their vehicles is basically a Sonata with a slightly different body. I would feel a lot more comfortable with a Kia if Hyundai were making them. Not sure what the Stinger would be

Both are exceptional cars that last forever.

Cats were once believed to feel no pain and would be tortured for entertainment. So this thought is awful. :|

On a similar note, in the early years of veterinary anesthesiology, the drug they were using only paralyzed the animal, but didnt block pain or make them unaware. Once they figured out other drugs worked better they switched over, but the poor animals who had surgery before that :(

You have to be insane to have multiple kids

Who says we keep it? I went from having 2 kids to 6 in February and I don’t keep my sanity often. Some days I wish I still drank.
    I wouldn’t change it though

This is interesting...what if trees and flowers used to scream so humans chopped them and picked them to teach them not to. Now they know better.

    Well... in that case.

  • I'm going away in 13 days and I'm strongly considering turning off my phone during my whole stay and really disconnect. We're so dependent on these things and these apps that sometimes we need to take a step back and REALLY enjoy our surroundings :)

You should definitely do this :) xoxo
