It's over 100°F out there. Thought to go on a quick run to get ourselves acclimated to the heat surge ... Blurry hell! Even the air is thick, like gusts of the highest mode on the heat dial of the hair dryer, blasting your face and body.1

Lil' warm today and it kicked up a couple of more degrees after this was taken.
It said 116, but it only feels like 112 if you consider the wind chill factor.5 -
I hate working the late shift. 8pm can't get here soon enough0

I want to eat cheesecake. At this point, I couldn't care less if it's NY or traditional or Japanese. I'm just going to let it play out in my head until it dissipates.2

How was I’m going to be when it’s too come to swim. And that I need to move to a warmer climate so I can swim outside all year!1

“Lil warm”
I’d melt.
@CoffeeAndContour
truth is, I kinda like it.
last year it hit 122; that was a great day.
most people were afraid to venture outside but to me, it just felt like a nice warm hug.3 -

I'm thinking that the only place for that, in the US, would be Hawaii.
There's no way I'm gong for a swim here in December, no way.0 -

Yep, I don't mind the heat. But, when you add in humidity and dew points. Makes it far more miserable than being in 115F temps without shade or a hat...
Just like being in -25F temps isn't too bad so long as no wind, and most times it's too cold for humidity. But, when it's +15F and you have humidity, that'll chill you so bad you feel like you can never get warm0 -

My auto correct on my phone is killing my sentences. I need to proof read! Hawaii sounds nice! I thought Florida could be do able. We went in February year before last year. I was definitely swimming! I think I was the only person swimming. Because it was like 70 degrees, but home for me was -2 at the time.0 -

Hmm. Only option is to go full healthy mom and deny them any syrup at all. Tell them they’ll be sweet enough with just blueberries. Reverse psychologize them into never wanting you to cook again1 -
