i’m doing tooth fairy tonite too! twinning!
hopefully these leftover laundry quarters will do
When my kids used to ask why another kid got more than they do, I always said that there was multiple tooth fairies and they all get to set their own rules. and to remember to be thankful for what they get.
Seemed to work ok1 -
My favorite resident is on her death bed right now and I don’t think she’ll be around tomorrow so I sat and read poetry to her before I left tonight. She’s pretty unresponsive right now and it just busts me up because she’s been a TOB(or as my great grandma calls it a Tough Old Bird) and it just sucks to see her in this state18

It's not theirs to offer
They’re producing them with the foodstuffs they purchased with their own allowance0 -

I wish my day had started on a more positive note.
Dark outside, cold in the house, I stumbled into the kitchen to start my coffee and the *kitten* coffee pot would not work.
I grabbed my electric teapot and it was kaput as well.
What the ****?

I tell my kids to learn from my experiences, not their own. After all, last thing they need is to turn out like me.
haha! I just hope that these trouble making ways skip a generation!0 -

You're awesome Jen, I should have done exactly this instead of trying to match what his friend got lol... Much better lesson
But Omg 1st grade is so awesome, he's totally buying it 🤣... Had the tooth swapped before he even fell asleep lol2 -

I've done it for the last 4 years and the outcome has always been fantastic. With the extremely cold winters we get here, nobody should be cold and not have a winter jacket to keep them warm. Giving my time to do something like this makes it all worth it.
This is wonderful Tanya Every year at work we sponsor a family in need at Christmas. I'm excited to find out who we get to give a Christmas to this year. I will be getting my son more involved in helping this year... It is such a fulfilling and humbling experience. Hope you collection lots of coats!1 -

Ki, lost a tooth yesterday too. I only had a $20.00 on me so that’s what he got. Wakes up and says “wow, look mommy, I must be brushing so good” lol.
Protip. Put the money in the pillowcase. When you go in to check on him, give him a kiss and slip it under the pillowcase. Only use bills.
Wow, must have been a full moon with all these teeth popping out lol...
I went and got change, he wasn't getting a $20 lol...
But the brat told me his friend got $10, so I was like okay fine...
Then this morning was like my friend was kidding, he only got $5.... Alright you little brat, you get the extra for hustling your father but don't get use to it... Lol2 -

Working some jobs expose you to the toxic, sadistic, chaotic and sad parts of this life and world. It will change you as a person if you’re exposed to it enough. That change will be a little for the better and a little for the worst. Hopefully it will embolden you to be the rock for those that need you and allow you to appreciate the magical innocence of your babies as you watch them experience the simple things with excitement and wonder.
Hugs brother!4 -

I worked at Subway in HS and they used to have a thing that said "Free fixin's" at every damn day we had to have some jackwagon joke about just wanting some with a glass of water, and laughing like they were the first to ever say it.

I'm at that age where people are still people to me and not just some username on the screen. I think the younger you get, the easier it could be to be less considerate in other people's actual feelings. I'm not saying everyone, but just in general.
I've had online friends just disappear and it can be really hard. You get to used to them always being there and because it's online and you sometimes don't have any other way to communicate with them when they sign off of here they practically disappear. It sucks.
For the most part I'd say that when they do that it has nothing to do with you at all - it's just them not realizing that by leaving they're accidentally being inconsiderate of your feelings.

I look at it this way. The more anonymous a relationship is, the less stock i put into it. If i dont know your real name, or just your first, im probably not all that bonded to the friendship. If there is no real trust, then im not vested. If we have more than just internet communication, like at least phone or text, i obviously will be more attentive to the relationship, but still not as much as someone i personally interact with physically. I do not consider anonymous messenger apps as any real form of communication either. And no i dont have kik .
I have been on this site for a few years now. I have seen people come and go, reinvent themselves, make transformations with mind as well as body....not always for the good. But the one constant i see, is, very few things here last a long time. Proclamations of all sorts get made, and its amusing to watch them change. Sometimes sad too. I see the wave of popular kids come in as the old guard fades away, and its funny as to who the new cast of characters will be.
I take most topics with absolutely no seriousness, and a lot of the people i just enjoy them for what they are. There are also those i dislike as well, but i still enjoy them for what THEY are. Its. Fun place if you keep it prioritized to your reality.
