There aren't that many people doing astro landscapes. It's a lot of fun. Challenging and frustrating, and it involves a lot of standing around in the cold for hours, but it's fun. I never expect any of these to actually work out, so I'm always delighted when I get something pretty.
You should make your own calendar. You could sell it to tourists and locals and online.5 -

Ok. I had cool views of Mars in my telescope when it was closer to earth. Really fast moving planet in the field of vision.1 -

I have some earthly pictures in a calendar contest, but the competition is fierce.0

I would buy it because your pictures transport one to a serene place. Perfect timing with 2017 around the corner.
I've been meaning to put a personal calendar together for years. But I'm lazy. And I don't know if I have enough starry sky pics with snow on the ground to make it seasonal. If I make it happen this year I'll let you three know.2 -
I guess I can't really say no. I'll go through what I've got, put something together, and start a thread for voting. It might take a few days, I've got a lot of pictures to go through.4

In for the pictures...
@NorthCascades , your photos are stunning. I can't imagine what it would be like to look up and see that with my own eyes, but maybe one day I'll get far enough away from "civilisation" to see it for myself. In the meantime, thank you so much for sharing!
I love space... not clever enough to understand a lot of the science, but I love it anyway!2 -

On the Apollo 11 mission Michael Collins continued to orbit the moon in the command module while Armstrong and Aldrin walked on the moon. For 48 minutes he was on the side of the moon facing away from earth with no radio contact to either Earth or the astronauts.
Btw this is [to scale] how far away the moon is from Earth linearly.
What is that? A Scale of how far away the moon is from Earth linearly for ants?2 -

It's pretty difficult to get into one picture because the moon is pretty damn far...
I liked the picture but I never miss an opportunity to ask if something is for ants.0 -
I missed a glorious opportunity to go see Buzz Aldrin give a presentation years ago ~!~0
