I'm 50. 3 1/2 years ago I suffered a large stroke. It sure opened my eyes. I started eating extremely healthy, and discovered weight lifting. I'm in the best shape of my life now.

Feel free to add me also. Just turned 57 and while I was able to maintain my weight for two years, it is starting to creep back on due to menopause. I'd appreciate women my age and/or that can relate to this situation. It really is making it hard to re-loose the weight regardless of what I try.... Also, I'm with the other post above. I click on the name and I see "send a message" or "ignore". No ADD button.??? :/

I've been avoiding this thread because although I'm chronologically going to be 46 on Thursday, I have the physiology of a twenty something

38 years old. Starting a plan to lose 40-50lbs. Gained some weight in the past 5 years and need to drop it. Sick of XXL shirts and pants that don't fit right. Worst problem for me is the sweet tooth. Threw out all the bad trigger foods today. Going to do some measurements.

I'm a regular in the gym for lifting weights, but just cannot buy into doing cardio. Current lifting routines gets my heart going and makes me sweat good though.

I used MFP for a couple of years and lost almost 50lbs, then stopped and you know what happened next. I'm back to continue my life long weight struggle.

Feel free to add me, I always need friends and help

Once you have clicked on persons name and you see the 'send message" and "ignore" button, click on the persons name again. That will bring you to the "add friend" button. :)

    FR sent.
