Studying my intakes against low calorie days has shown me one thing.
As fattening as they are, scrambled eggs must suppress the appetite. Porridge doesn't seem to do that for me.
So just a cupful of fluffy egg. Maybe add a sliver of smoked salmon.0 -

I need protein in AM-that can be meat, eggs, peanut butter or protein powder added to a smoothie, but "just" carbs-cereal, porridge, etc doesn't fill me up without some substantial protein. This week I made a batch of congee (rice porridge) and have had 1.5 cups every morning with shredded chicken, scallions, sautéed spinach, soy sauce and furikake. Savory rather than sweet, which is my preference.0

another vote for overnight oats
I also like making a huge batch of bran muffins and pair it with yogurt + fruit!

I will be eating lots this Christmas and totally forgetting about calories. Turkey, chicken, beef sausages wrapped in bacon, prawn cocktail, pork stuffing, goose fat roast potatoes, and and... Have I missed any?0
