Weekly Sucesses
I finished week three of C25K.
I had a lot of activity in my challenge groups. Was not able to complete all tasks, but I got a new strength workout that I can almost do correctly.
New garage door opener installed after lightning took out the old one. Dear husband made my life so much better with this since the old one was not fully functional.
Stayed in the green on calories.
My step count was down but I did well over 74K

So I have been back sliding for nearly 4 months and have put some weight back on:( I am determined to try this again. Hopefully I can get out of my rut and use this challenge as accountability to move forward.

I will be joining you there by losing 5 more pounds I'm close at 204.6, I got down to 202 in 1987 at age 39, but did not get to Onederland.

I was down 14 lbs but gained about 9 lbs back so I'm on a mission... I started this challenge in the beginning and then stopped. time to be accountable again!!

Hopefully everything will be calmed down again until our trip planned in a couple of weeks. DH and I have installed a home gym and treadmill for our anniversary! NSV this week: DH asked if I wanted him to weigh my popcorn for me! He realized I need to weigh and track everything to stay focused. He also enjoyed the spaghetti squash marinara with shrimp for dinner yesterday.

Weekly Sucesses story time
A GAIN and my overall pounds lost is not greater than the weeks committed. I am NOT a happy camper. This is where we do not throw in the towel and say, "Oh *kitten* it!" but instead double down our focus for a week or two.
It was a challenging week for me. My boss of eleven years is leaving us today. I will miss her so. We are like minded about the job, the people we work with and the things we can control here (it's a very political job.) It has been so nice to spend so many years with a compatible person. Last week we have a big department in-office party, so there was the challenge of much food, and the emotions have been a wreck.
Then Saturday we had a baby shower for my DIL which involved social eating for the weekend.
The weather has been hot as Hades and humid to degrees that some of you encounter, but not for the months on end that us Floridians get to enjoy.
** Sigh ** All these reasons excuses.
It is not all negative. I did have a good week for steps; I was well over 10K per day average. I need to focus on getting to bed earlier, I am not making the 11:00 bedtime. C25K week 4 is done. I am keeping up with most of the challenge tasks.
Focus for the week upcoming- Focus on the meal plan fine details. Log everything.
