Weekly update:
Last week I had a conference to attend. A well-fed conference. Apparently, I behaved OK overall because I am down for the week. I did make sure I exercised each night. The last night it was only a slow mile walk with my boss, but I made her lap the course twice. She first only wanted to do one lap.

This Week's life challenges
It’s hot and sticky here in Florida, but that is nothing new. Work is busy, but not particularly challenging. I guess I really need to focus on whether or not I want to pursue another job. Other than that it should be just a week of staying on track.
My husband wants to drive two and a half hours each way tomorrow to see his cousin and eat dinner. I guess I will have to be supportive since he always puts up with my relatives. I hope we go to Whitey’s fish camp. I could really enjoy a good fried fish sandwich.
Stuff to do and to focus on- Stay in the green on food for the week. Don’t stress individual days.
- Water - Keep logging it to make sure I am drinking it
- Bed by 11 each weeknight - except Tuesday – I may not be home on Tuesday at 11:00
- Get up Tuesday morning and walk before work
- 70,000+ steps for the week

This week's success: It has been a while since I last posted on here so one success for this week is that I am back! I did 3 workouts at the gym this week, and maintained over 12,000 steps each day for 6 out of the 7 days of this week.
This week's challenges: I have been frustrated for most of the month of June with the scales barely moving. It seems that losing the first 30 pounds was the easy bit. I am hoping that I will return to losing 1 pound per week again soon!!

This week's challenges/successes: the loss of 7 lbs over two weeks is actually due to major surgery (and the removal of body parts), along with the anxiety both pre- and post-op. Challenge now is to slowly increase activity over the next 4 - 6 weeks.3 -

This week's challenges and success: 10 days of travel and family. Temptation was constant but with every compliment I received on my weight loss (there were lots) my willpower increased. I didn't pass up the goodies, but I did limit quantity. And gallons of water.

Be diligent on your logging for the next few weeks. Especially if you celebrate July 4. Write it ALL down. Then deal with it.
I use the weekly average net calories to help keep me on track. If I go over one day I just go a little light a few other days that week. I also weigh daily and track the trend. My data points are all over the place. but the trend is down, like your trend for the year.

ARRGGGHHHH! Argh, argh, argh! Frickin half a pound up for the week!
I’m not distressed, devastated or upset. I am just annoyed by the variances of the scale.
For the last three days I have been 199, 197, 198. Today it decides to pop up a little more. Argh, Argh, ARGH.
The only things I can account for it with are usual excuses: Water retention: I had several servings of alcohol yesterday, plus salty snacks at a poker game; I also started C25K yesterday and am not used to running. Hopefully I will look like a woosh at the next check-in.
Also – I am halfway through the year and I am at my goal for 26 weeks!!!!! I have lost a pound a week for the first six months of 2017. Awesome!

This weeks challenges and successes: At the gym most days this week. Found it easy to eat in a deficit this week. Not sure what I did differently. Only 1.6 pounds Way from the 30 pound mark and 2.6 pounds from the 120s! Hope I can keep up the momentum.

This week's successes: This is the end of week 27 for me, and I've lost 27 pounds, so I'm right on track but just barely.
This week's challenges: I know I haven't logged in to the challenge lately, and I need to do better about checking in. Next weekend is my son's wedding, and I really had hoped to lose more weight by then, but I'm happy about being half way to my goal. 27 pounds is enough that people are noticing my weight loss now. I know they will be taking a lot of photos next weekend, and I bought a nice dress, so I'm happy to be wearing a smaller size now!
So happy I am half way to this goal!!4 -

I had a terrible week. The winter weather has hit with lots of rainy days which meant getting out for a walk didn't happen. And, my son was sick, so I missed the gym for 2 days. And I didn't stay on track with my eating at all.
My husband moved our treadmill inside and I don't like exercising indoors so this had made things even more difficult.
My focus for this week will be:
1. Logging EVERYTHING I eat (even when I go over my calorie goal)
2. Hitting my step goal of 12,000 steps each day, even it it means going on the treadmill inside.
3. Hitting the gym 4 times this week (2 cardio sessions and 2 weight/core sessions)
