52/52 Challenge lost YTD: -42.4
This week's successes: Loss 1.6 to get to 180s, a weight I was at in high school 51 years ago!
Next weeks challenge: Be mindful when ordering next week at a pizza restaurant for a Christmas luncheon with friends. Finish the year as close to my goal weight as possible.6 -

@tammierlewis Thanks! It has been a struggle to lose a pound a week BUT it has kept me focused on continuing my weight loss struggle the past two years. The first two years (2013-2014) I saw the pounds come off (90#) The third year was maintaining my first 100# loss.
This challenge has helped me get to where I NEVER thought I would be...

Continuing with at least an hour of walking each day. Completed week 3 of C25K. Might take me a couple of weeks to get the 5 minute runs comp!eted for week 4. Slow steady progress is better than a backslide.

I was sick past week. Fever & cold..
I'm all fine today. Hope this week will go as planned .

I'm not happy at all
I did it to my self. I didn't Exercised, No diet, No Walking, No Swimming....
This week and week before were very bad.
I got Cocky for losing 20+ lbs. And I took things for granted. & Now I've got tight slapped by reality. It sure showed me my place. & I'm Happy this happened sooner than later. Because Now I will never Behave as I've behaved in this past 2-4 weeks.
I pledge I will be true to my Cause & I will work harder to Achieve all my Goals & I will never take things for Granted.

Miraculously I've lost 3 kg (7lbs.) On my 2week trip

Did not complete my Wt. goal for this week.
But I'm happy I did Maintained the Wt.
Week 18 Wt. = 185.2 lbs. (84kg)
Week 19 Wt. = 182 lbs. (82.5 kg)
Week 20 Wt. = 183 lbs. (83 kg)
Week 21 Wt. = 180.8 lbs. (82 kg.)
I'm losing Wt. But not the inches.. In fact since last 2-3 weeks I've Gained inches.
Starting from today- I will exercise daily. Eat healthy & Will lose at least 3kg before 2017 ends.!

I started this challenge in Jan 2017 and whilst I haven’t posted for the past few months, I’m happy to report I have lost 45lbs this year. Didn’t quite make the 52 but I’m more than happy with my progress…now on to 2018!6

@Jimb37mfp, you are such an inspiration. Even though you may not reach your goal this year, you have had great successes. We are going to continue with this challenge in 2018. Checking in early for holiday travel. Down slightly and just another 10 days of celebration and travel. Trying to be mindful before I consume it.
Completed week 4 of C25K. I was so surprised when I completed the first 5 minute run! I will do my best to get exercise in over the next week.

I didn't check in here this year, but I lost 54 pounds I have reached my goal of 130 lbs. In fact, I am currently 129.0!
Big thanks to this thread and the motivation that it gave me to look at the value of a whole year. I was very short-sighted before. But not anymore5 -

This week's success: -.4 during Christmas. Ended the year with A LOSS!
Even though I didn’t lose 52# or hit my personal goal of 186 it was s GOOD YEAR! I got to ONEDERLAND a place I have not been to since? 1970?
Next weeks challenge: START the year with A ONE POUND LOSS!
I no longer have 52# to lose but I will continue to log in until I hit my official WW GW. I have not yet set it in stone, I was thinking 185 but my PCP said how about 179? (I’m 5’8” and will be 70yo in February).
I have not been below 200# since? I got down to 202# in 1986 and never got close until 2017!
This challenge has really helped me to FOCUS on just how important it is to really be aware of how much and what I eat. And how much activity I get in, my main exercise is aqua aerobics, swimming laps and walking our dog Sadie. I plan to continue with being active and signed up for Chair Yoga classes beginning 8 January.

Last weigh in for 2017. Didn't reach my goal but I am well on my way. I have loved being part of this challenge. It has helped me to remain focused and accountable. Hope it continues for 2018. I like the format and encouragement from everyone.
I didn't get any exercise in this past week. I will restart C25K with week 4 this week. There's a local 5K on March 31 that I want to do for my first (maybe only) organized run. I will be ready for it!

While I would have liked to have reached my goal weight by the end of the year, I am so very happy with the changes over the past 50 weeks. When I think back to my state of mind this time last year - fed up with my weight gain and general appearance - I am so happy to be where I am now. A few more pounds to go but I know I will get there.
