    @ OP...I did post a profile on a dating website, and I did put recent pics. I have had some interest, but not very many from men I found interesting. It is just reinforcing the whole idea that some people will love you for you, and some people will not be interested at all.
    I find it enlightening that many of the people who are saying they feel too overweight to put themselves out there have profile pictures that show happy, fit, attractive people...perhaps dysmorphia is more common that I thought?
