Worst part of losing weight?

For me it's having my calorie amounts go down. I just changed my weight on here and get to eat almost 100 calories less a day. And of course the same workouts give me a smaller calorie burn, so that's less to eat.
I like to eat. A lot. lol I set my goal at 1/2lb a week to lose so that I can eat as much as possible. So anytime I have to go down in calories it sucks. Oh well for now I still get 1700 a day and with working out I average around 2000. I would be a lot happier at like 2500-3000. Like I said, I really like to eat. Too bad I'm a 5'2" woman.
Anyway, is there anything you don't like about losing weight?

Buying clothes. When I was bigger I thought that buying clothes would be easier and more fun when I was smaller. I still hate clothes shopping and still struggle to find clothes that suit me and fit properly16

A little with the saggy skin, but donating perfectly good clothes because they're too big bugs me a lot, would rather wear them out. Although buying some new smaller sizes is rather ego boosting and satisfying:)13

My issues is that I can't wear the one dress shirt that I got lots of compliments on, and I don't want to buy another yet until I lose another 25 lbs. So it's back to golf shirts from Value Village for a while.6 -
Not drinking as much wine as I would like without sacrificing my nutrition.
I kid folks I kid:)11 -
Replacing clothes. It's gets super expensive really fast, especially when you have to replace underwear, bras, coats, and shoes (yeah, your feet get smaller) I addition to tops and pants.10

Like everyone has said - replacing clothes. I nevr thought that I would see size 12 ever again. So I threw everything out or gave it to charity. So, eBay is my friend these days. I don't have a lot of time / energy to shop and I like nice clothing. So, I search for stuff based on waist size and inseam and from brands that I know fit me well. Also, I buy my shoes on eBay - I like a certain brand and style and it's super expensive new. But, generally i can find it on eBay for a fraction of what it sells new. Ans, over time, I have the shoe in every color.0

This might be an odd one, but I don't know if it's just that I'm more confident or it actually has to do with looks. But since I started my fitness journey, I have had to deal with many aggressive males. I've been sexually assaulted in a bar, followed in dark areas, etc. This never happened before, so I can't really figure out what to attribute it to. Either way, I really hate it because I don't like being fearful of places or people.22

Neither of you should "have to" but have you ever thought about doing Krav Maga or a similar self defense oriented martial art? It really helps with the confidence, and also so that you don't carry yourself like a victim. I've never been followed or attacked in any way despite traveling and being out on my own a lot. I think that has a lot to do with how aware I am, the calm eye contact I make, etc...9 -

Sorry, you lost me at "carrying yourself as a victim." But yes, I have taken self-defense classes. That has nothing to do with it. But I'm glad you haven't encountered this.

I had someone try to abduct me at a bar once when I was 120. I forgot how nice being a little heavier is until I got cat called in my parking lot yesterday.0 -
The best and worst part for me was knowing how it works. Once you know, there's no excuse and you are 100% accountable. Ignorance was bliss at one point when I had a bad metabolism, unlucky genetics or whatever else I told myself. That was the psychological hard part of losing weight for me16

So much sadness ...worst part is my stomach now being an angry old man when i bend over LOL

iv noticed this to we get alot more attention, And its not always good0 -
I have to get smaller clothes, but I'm too afraid to get rid of the big clothes out of fear I'll go back and need to repurchase those bigger sizes. So half of my wardrobe I can't wear and it just takes up space.
My fiance has decided now that we're going to buy a punching bag, and instead of getting one filled with sand, we'll stuff it with my fat clothes so I can cathartically punch the hell out of it. Punching and kicking my old self while exercising my new self! He's pretty clever25 -

My attitude towards losing weight now that I'm in a healthy weight range is just horrible. I also love to eat. I maintain on 1800 calories and I find even maintenance brutal. I suck at losing weight now when I was once very successful. I can't seem to change my attitude or stay on track. My coach has me in purposeful maintenance at the moment. Hopefully I'll be ready mentally to cut a bit in a few weeks.8

You might be kidding, but that's 100% true. I can't drink nearly as much as I used to. It's sad really. As I consider wine a food group. Hmph

people asking what have youve been doing to lose weight... you tell them what you are doing, they make a bunch of questions and that the end they just say: that sounds like too much work... I would rather have some extra pounds and be happy lol.. then why did you ask to begin with? hahahaha.6

OK... as you were then. good luck
