UGH! Rough month. Was out of town last weekend, went out for food more during that time (including delicious but very salty Phó), then spent the week recovering (bounced up 2-3 lbs in a couple of days). Spent whole week slowly, slowly creeping down. This has really been first extended plateau since January. Way behind usual 1-2 lbs/wk loss rate.

Seems like May has been rockin' it out for weight-loss!
Not only did I meet my weight goal, I lost an extra 3 lbs!! It's a MIRACLE!!

Happy Sunday, everyone!
Well, I did go backwards this week as I knew I would, but I am back on track. Between Mother's Day, wedding anniversary, my husband's birthday and my birthday, we ate our way through the first half of the week. Back on track for the latter half.
Scale was freaking me out mid-week, but most of it must have been water weight. So much salt in restaurant food.
My weekly average sucks, but my daily weight today is right where I left off before "cheat week"!
Original starting weight February 2016: 243
MFP Starting weight December 25th, 2016: 233
Average from April 24th to April 30th: 217.5
Average from May 1st to May 7th: 217.1
Average from May 8th to May 14th: 217.7
Average from May 15th to May 21st: 218.8
Today I am 217.1.
Loss in May : Gain of 1.3 bs.

I'm now almost halfway into the new adjusted weight loss goal for this month. A week and a half left and 1.9 lbs to go. So far so good. I seem to have made up for last months catastrophic weight gain.
I'm alone in the house this week, so this will be a good test to see if I can hold myself accountable and keep my healthy eating in check, because if I can't do it for myself and only when other people are around to watch me then I don't have much hope in keeping the weight off.

I'm hanging in til the end of the month but I'm sad. I'm never going to lose weight. I struggled last time with the same few pounds going up and down. I went to the beach this weekend and totally thought I was making good food choices while doing a lot of walking!! How I gained 4 lbs in one weekend I have no idea!! I did not in any way overeat. I didn't stay within my allotted calories on Fri or Sun but I still didn't eat anywhere like I used to before I started cutting back.
I'm at 1200 per day and I don't think I even ate more than 1700 on any of my bad days this weekend. I have no idea how 4 lbs could creep up on me like that!!!! Why can't I gain that much at one time on the days I go in a row starving?!!
This is so frustrating. I'm ready to just say I'm supposed to be fat at this point in life and live with it.3 -

Perkymommy, if you ate restaurant food it could be water weight from all the salt. Drink water to flush it out and hang in there.
I am stuck right now too, so I feel your pain.
