well the calories and macros I go with, will not work for everyone....
Right now I have my calories set to ~2600
Protein is at 200 gr, so I usually do around 1.2 gr per pound of body weight
Fat is at ~70 gr, so about 0.4 gr per pound of body weight.
Carbs I have around 300 gr, I slide this up and down depending on my goals. but for now it is around 1.8 gr per pound of body weight.....as summer gets closer, I will drop to 1.5 gr.
Thank you very much I eat 1600 a day lol time to up the calories!0 -
Using the "Max" calculations I come out at the same macros at my weight0

Try them and see how they go....be consistent for at least 2-3 weeks to see how your body responds and go from there.
But honestly 1600 is too low, you would most likely jeopardize muscle in your fat loss process.
Understand it takes time and if you are not doing a competition or something, then keep your calories as high as you can while still losing weight.
Lower them as needed.0 -

I lost 46 lbs in about a year and certainly lost some muscle but now I need to cut the last 10 lbs from what you see in my profile pic0 -
This is no longer the hottest male thread it is now the "coach Max" thread0

Wow congrats. Keep up the grind.
Just lift heavy and be consistent....muscle is precious, so you wanna keep as much as you can
If you are down to just 10 more pounds, then I would suggest getting your calories up to where you are only losing about a pound a week.
Also if you are interested, I did a little experiment in March.

Max thanks for sharing,
This time in 10 Months starts the challenge I'll have finished my marathons so can begin the path to Lean muscle gaining. (slow muscle gaining as I have experienced before)0 -

You're welcome
And yes, getting muscle is a very slow process....is for me....can be annoying.1 -
