I don't know about too much exercise causing leaky gut, but too much eye rolling has caused my headache.14

So if you ski 30+ miles with a 100 lb backpack, it messes with your gut bacteria.
Didn't see how enduring the change was, it may just be a short term reaction to intense physiological stress.

Sorry but if this were true, we'd have all our special forces people in every branch of military and police dying from "leaky gut" syndromes rather than war, special ops or high risk police work. Let's see more CONCLUSIVE studies and not correlations.
The peer reviewed studies covered autoimmune issues, but didn't state overexercising could cause it.
