When I eat breakfast in the morning (usually it's noon), I'll have 4-5 scrabbled eggs cooked in lots of butter and lots of shredded cheddar cheese with 4-5 strips of bacon. Sometimes I'll have my low/no carb pancakes with them.

    almost every day i have:

one cup of plain yogurt with fruit and one quarter cup walnuts (right now plums from the yard, and blackberries)

    or

half a small melon with cottage cheese (a delicious classic, i shall eat this every day when the many melons in the garden ripen)

oatmeal with fruit and walnuts (when its cold outside, not as much in the summer :)

    or

sandwich of sprouted grain toast with fried eggs (when im extra hungry in the morning)

plus plenty of coffee, and water with lemon

Monday - Friday = Schroeder shake (1 scoop of chocolate whey protein, half a banana, 1 tablespoon peanut butter, and 1 cup of 1% milk)

Saturday - Sunday = egg whites, bacon or sausage, jelly and toast, waffles ... some combo of that to keep calories within reason

I didn't plan breakfast this AM (went to bed last night without doing it and woke up too late to make what I REALLY wanted - a homemade smoothie), so it was an egg white delight. Sigh....

My typical breakfast options during the week are:
Homemade smoothie (greek yogurt, 1% milk, and fruits - especially berries!)
    Oatmeal with fruit
Fruit mixed with greek yogurt and granola
Egg wrap (from home) - small tortilla with an egg or two and veggies
Standard cereal with milk and fruit

I had a banana, bowl of ready-to-eat cereal with chia seeds and almond milk, and a microwaved sweet potato.

I sometimes will have a bowl of grits with sauteed onions and salsa instead.
  • I'm eating almond butter on a piece of whole wheat toast and some cottage cheese. Too tired for any more effort than that.

BTW, never had almond butter before. This stuff is magic.

    Every single day...same thing....
6 oz plain nonfat greek yogurt
    3/4 mixed berries,unsweetened
    2 T chia seeds
    2 microwaved eggs

Although, this morning, I mixed it up and had everything except only 1 egg with half an avocado and hot sauce.
    FAN-FLIPPING-TASTIC!

I had a smoothie that consists of 1.5 cups of kale, strawberries, blue berries and apples at 1 cup a batch. Then I also added some chia seeds and water to the mix. My plan is to have this Monday through Friday..Sometimes I'm rushing and just grab and apple. Enjoy!!
