    If we are talking about what annoys us, and not offends us, then I have to add: people who stand DIRECTLY in front of the elevator doors so that no one can get out. An awkward shuffle ensues, whereby the elevator door stander moves over (unwillingly) and everyone else has to squeeze by them. Horrible. Why do people do this?

    Sometimes when I get in an elevator, I don't then turn around to face the door. People get extremely uncomfortable...

    I have done that several times. On a couple of those occasions, I said "Now I suppose you're wondering why I called this meeting." ... that got a pretty good chuckle. Once was when I was in college. The other was a couple of years ago in a building in downtown Louisville!

    Only think that offends me is when people don't use their manners and say please or thank you when appropriate. Oh and when you hold a door open for someone and they don't acknowledge. Rant over :)

    People that judge my son not knowing that he is autistic. Even more, the people that DO know he is autistic and still judge him. :mad:

    lol I have ADHD and get judged, hell I have had people tell me that it do's not even exist and that people like me just use it as an excuse and a crutch, their comments don't even bother me anymore seeing that the comments come from people who are not doctors and really mean nothing to me. I just let them believe what they want.

    I'm not easily offended and usually don't allow myself to be. Though, I have no time for ignorant, hateful and bigoted people.

    my hackles go up around
    - people with no sense of space, or who don't care about or are aggressive in taking yours (eg driving, waiting in line are times this comes up)
    - interrupters! jeez!
    - people who have to define/win arguments at all costs, regardless of context, & who resort to perverse logic to that end, and are SUPER intense about it (I have a hard time hanging out with engineers)
    - mansplaining (see above, holy crap makes me want to punch things)
    - people who deal with me as a woman first and a person second

    like i understand these things are mostly not personal most of the time, but they still get to me
