That sounds amazing. Nobody likes a crusty old muffin.

I also love a great carrot with raisin and walnuts.6

Some sort of banana chocolate ....I had the most INCREDIBLE muffin a few weeks back. It was a banana chocolate chip peanut butter muffin ... gluten free for those who care. It was like cake muffin heaven.11

OMG. I usually find chocolate in muffins too sweet now (which is weird because I used to be able to eat stupid amounts of it). Banana with peanut butter and chocolate sounds amazing.6 -
Orange and poppyseed, every time.
I really do just prefer muffin tops though.

Lol, this reminded me of how I kept my little brother distracted when he wanted boredom food. We used to have Nuthin Muffins. He could imagine any crazy flavor and color combination he wanted and eat as many as he wanted!2

Those are so fun!
ETA: I always separate the top from the bottom and eat the bottom first. I like that the muffin tops are a little crunchy.Lol, this reminded me of how I kept my little brother distracted when he wanted boredom food. We used to have Nuthin Muffins. You were much nicer to your little brother than I was :bigsmile:Never met a muffin I didn't like

Part of the reason I'm here!
Although tonight, it's salted caramel gelato.5 -

Lemon or orange (but NO additions like poppy seeds or cranberries).
Edited to add: Blueberries would be an acceptable addition.

Double chocolate chip. The huge ones, like what you'd find in a multi pack at Sam's Club!3

I used to get these double chocolate ones for my son. He liked the bottom and not the crunchy top it was awesome and they were so good. Why are muffins so calorie dense???2

Lemon poppy seed is #1, but a classic blueberry will never disappoint.4

Can't get any better than that, imo, though I used to occasionally like a lemon poppy seed.2 -
Oh, how could I forget - the humble corn muffin.
I think I loved them because of childhood memories. My grandparents were overly protective of us and didn't want us standing in the cold waiting for school to start in the winter. They'd park across the street from our elementary school and wait for the school bus to arrive with a thermos of hot chocolate and warm corn muffins with the heat in the car turned on.
This was all so my mother didn't know it was happening, supposedly, because they had wanted just to drive us and she nixed that idea or something - my memory is fuzzy here.
I just remember the warm muffins and hot chocolate.

Chocolate chip.
And now I have to make muffins, thanks to this thread.3 -

A Studmuffin.
Well, seriously...a coffee cake muffin, or lemon poppyseed.

I love to put my nose right next to a freshly baked durian muffin; brings so many vivid experiences and memories to mind.0

Since I have a large amount of rhubarb and a few of my co-workers have given up sugar/wheat, I found a delicious sugar free/wheat free rhubarb muffin. They are sweetened with banana and frozen fruit....SO GOOD! Everyone loved them, including my sweet-tooth husband!2

I do like fruit muffins. I forgot about cranberries in them. Adds a nice tangy taste to it! Love pumpkin. Had not considered adding cranberry to it. I may have to do some experimenting next payday.5 -

What a great memory! Grandparents can spoil you in ways that your parents can't.5
