TIL that One A Day Adult VitaCraves Healthy Metabolism Support Multi Gummies are super *kitten* awful. I just tried them and I spit it out in the trash bc I thought they had gone off. Looked up the reviews and that's just how they taste. *kitten* gross.0

TIL Just 10 rivers, 8 in Asia alone, may be responsible for dumping almost 4 million tonnes of plastic into the seas every year, accounting for 88-95% of all of plastic pollution in the ocean. Cutting plastic pollution in the 10 rivers could reduce plastic pollution in the ocean by as much as 45%.
The heavily polluted Yangtze river pumps massive amounts of plastic into the ocean every year.

TIL that that if the p-value is lower than the significance level, you can reject the null hypothesis (and I actually kind of understand what this means). I am pretty much a statistician now.
So the goal of quantitative research is basically proving that it is more likely that nothing is not happening than that something is not happening -- therefore it is more likely that something is happening. This might seem simple to some people but it's hard for me. Writing it here helps. Thanks, cee.2 -
