August is upon us. Summer is going FAST! B) join me for the August challenge? :)

I challenge you too walk, jog, run, bike, anything that gives you steps and stack up those miles!

I was behind in July by 10.75 miles. That mostly due too Rain, High Humidity and outside home projects that had too be done. We are still not done painting but half the house is done and then on too the deck! oh joy! lol

SO my personal goal is going too be 115 Miles this time. IF I go over then great. If not? well I just keep on keeping on...

    I'm in. . .I have had the same goal of 210 miles for quite a few months. . .I have only made the goal once. Although I have not quit or gotten discouraged I decided it was time to re-evaluate and maybe try for a more attainable goal. Based on my last few months I'm going to set my goal for 175 miles.

    Machka I had forgotten it was winter there! You're doing great!!!

    Today we completed painting the house. Those steps gave me 2.25 Miles running back and forth for supplies, painting, cleaning up, etc...ALSO my doggie walk late this evening with the girls which gave me 1.75 Miles. Too tired too do anymore....

    TOTAL as of AUGUST 1ST.............4.0 Miles...

    My husband and I were in Canada for a month from mid-June to mid-July so we got beautiful summer weather then, but we've been freezing since we got back! We had intended to do a whole lot more cycling etc. but the desire to be indoors where it was warm was strong.

    My goal.is to walk 100km this month, so about 25km/week. I just had a baby and bought a nice new stroller and am looking forward to putting some km on it!

    Edited - i just remembered I had gone to the gym Tuesday and kept track of my mileage.

    Aug 1st - 1.6km elliptical (15min), 4.3km bike = 5.9km (15min)
    Aug 2nd - no exercise
    Aug 3rd - 7.5km walk with stroller (104min)

    Week 1 total so far: 13.4km ( 134min)

    Today was a good day. Started out walking the girls which gave me........ 2.25 Walking Miles
    After husband got up he decided too walk so walk with him gave me.......3.00 Walking Miles
    THEN we decided too go shopping. Those steps gave us another .............1.50 Walking Miles
    THIS was an exceptionally good day! <3

    TOTAL miles as of August 4th.............21.25 Walking Miles <3

    Aug 4th - no walking, but 2 hrs of dodgeball!
    (Tomorrow i play dodgeball for 7 hrs - can't track km but i know i will be getting exercise. I'll just have to make up for it later this month!)

    We tried too walk. It has rained most of the day. The break in-between gave us a 40 minute walk before it started raining on us......... 2.0 Miles was all we got today..

    Week 1 total: 13.4km

    Aug 7th - 5.4km walk alone ( i asked 4 people to go wtih me and they refused so i proudly went alone even though i didnt want to haha). I gotta get caught up with my walking however injured my right knee doing squats and may have to take it easy. I also prepped and paintes my bathroom today. I tracked all my food intake and stayed on track. Overall a great day except for the injury.
