Today has been a good day but am I ever so tired! We had 3 trees cut down for us. We had too removed the brush ourselves, do some filling in and leveling. We walked the girls. I decided too push mow a portion of our lawn. It usually takes me 2 days too mow anyway. I mowed for an hour and gave out. SO TIRED this evening...

I ask because what few forum friends I have dont' seem too do a regular 'diary' going..
Do you eat back the calories you've worked off?
I ask because you see the progress of my walks and this summer we have had mega outside heavy lifting and work too do. STILL I have gained 1.5 pounds since FEBRUARY. I have tried eating back the 'net' that everyone says I must. I GAIN WEIGHT when I do that. The bad thing is that I am Insulin Resistant and it makes it difficult too lose a lot of weight at a time. It took me THREE YEARS just too lose 50 pounds...... Since then which was 2014 I have gained a few pounds here and there and lost a small bit here and there. End result is I have gained 7 pounds in three years....I WANT TOO GET IT OFF AND KEEP IT OFF. I still have about 17-20 pounds too lose....
I KNOW I probably need too drop my intake too 1200 Calories and some days I do but man that is a difficult one!!!!!!! I do walk at least an hour a day and some days another 30 minutes too an hour. I can not do sit up exercises. I've tried lifting 5 pound weights only too end up with shoulder pain and then I quit. Even today I have Lt. shoulder pain since trying too do those...

When I am actively losing weight, I eat somewhere between 1250 and 1350 calories ... plus ...
When I exercise a little bit ... like walking an hour or cycling for a couple hours ... I eat about half my exercise calories back.
When I exercise a moderate amount ... like running on the treadmill for half and hour + rowing for 20 min + walking for an hour, or going for a 3-4 hour bicycle ride, or something like that ... I eat about 75% of my exercise calories back.
When I exercise a lot ... like when I cycle 100 km in a day or more ... I eat about 90% of my exercise calories back.
When I'm actively losing weight, I also weigh my food and stick to my calorie limit like glue.0 -

I ask because what few forum friends I have dont' seem too do a regular 'diary' going..
Do you eat back the calories you've worked off?
I ask because you see the progress of my walks and this summer we have had mega outside heavy lifting and work too do. STILL I have gained 1.5 pounds since FEBRUARY. I have tried eating back the 'net' that everyone says I must. I GAIN WEIGHT when I do that. The bad thing is that I am Insulin Resistant and it makes it difficult too lose a lot of weight at a time. It took me THREE YEARS just too lose 50 pounds...... Since then which was 2014 I have gained a few pounds here and there and lost a small bit here and there. End result is I have gained 7 pounds in three years....I WANT TOO GET IT OFF AND KEEP IT OFF. I still have about 17-20 pounds too lose....
I KNOW I probably need too drop my intake too 1200 Calories and some days I do but man that is a difficult one!!!!!!! I do walk at least an hour a day and some days another 30 minutes too an hour. I can not do sit up exercises. I've tried lifting 5 pound weights only too end up with shoulder pain and then I quit. Even today I have Lt. shoulder pain since trying too do those...
I AM GOING TOO TRY and start cutting calories some...
ANY SUGGESTIONS???????????
Since it seems like you have mastered walking the only thing I can think of is trying something new. I would suggest strength training with the guidance from your physician? Maybe get someone (doctor or trainer) to go through and look at the things are you able to do without injuring yourself.. starting off very small.

Machka that helps a lot because I was always told you had too eat ALL the calories back that you worked off but I think I mentioned that I did not lose weight that way and many times I gained but most likely too having the Insulin Resistant problem..
OK all SPECIAL Lunch's/Dinners are over as of 3pm today! . My life SHOULD get back too a norm. My husband and I do eat healthy at home although we are guilty of eating too much of the good things I guess. I DO measure my food most times but I get slack in that. I KNOW I NEED TOO CUT DOWN TOO 1200-1325 Calories and I will TRY too do that knowing it will not be easy...
