I agree with few of the above. 1200 is waaaay too little. From my knowledge you need at least 1600 kcal to function properly, regardless of your height and weight.

Err... I'm 5'2". And I'm small now (healthy weight). Your minimum to "function properly" is my maintenance if I'm actually being semi-active. If I went sedentary, my maintenance would be even less than that.

Minimum recommended for women is 1200 calories, men is roughly 1500 calories.

@stacey73casarez - please respond and let everyone know how you are measuring the amount of calories you eat. Are you weighing? If you really are eating this little while working out this much, you need to see a specialist to figure out why. More than likely you are eating far more than you think, but without input from you, there can't be any meaningful discussion.

Okay here it is when I started this app it put me down as to eat 1200 calories a day I usually eat 1200 calories or less the day I go to the gym in the morning and then again at night... I have been to the doctor and have asked about my thyroid and they said that my thyroid is fine so I don't know what I'm doing wrong if I'm not eating enough calories for going to the gym twice a day but a lot of you guys are saying I'm eating way too many calories... and yes I log everything I eat and drink

How are you logging? Are you weighing all of your food?

Okay I have been to the doctor they said there's nothing wrong with my thyroid I log in everyday and log everything I eat and drink when I started this app it put me down for my height and weight 1200 calories a day I usually eat 1200 calories or less the day but I also go to the gym in the morning and then again at night.... so some of you tell me I'm eating way too many calories and some of you tell me I am not eating enough calories

How are you quantifying the amount of food that you are logging? Are you estimating? Looking at the packaging and saying, "Yeah, that's probably one serving." Weighing it on a food scale? What?
