End R12 (my first round): 171.4
I'd like to lose 2 more pounds this round.
8/11: 171.4 Yesterday was a food day. A "gourmet" doughnut and latte for breakfast and a company picnic (did pretty well; kept it light). Had a good step day: 16,000!
8/12: 171.4 Holding steady. Boy, I really wanted wine last night. And dessert. Lots of it. It seems to be my Friday tradition. By 5pm, though, I had only drank about 16 oz. of water, so had some catching up to do. I stuck with water. On a Friday night. Steps were also low (busy day at work yesterday) so spent the evening walking the dog and did some elliptical.

FIRST TIME: But I'm in!

8/11- 179.2 I know it's only a few ounces but yesterday I started in earnest with my workout and healthy eating routine. 180 is the most I've ever weighed in my life (before that it was 169 and I haven't checked the scale in between so this was quite a surprise). Just to see this number tip little bit is inspiring... and I'm off to the gym!
8/12- 179 Just began a breakup with my partner this morning. Parting with him, I believe, is also part of my self care. Hoping I can stick to my workout and calorie schedule. Though all I want is cheesecake and chips to soothe my soul.

So sorry to hear this. Breakups are never easy, but they can definitely be a part of self care. Make sure to be gentle with yourself during this transition.5 -

8/11- 199.2 ok i'm honestly so surprised by this i just started my journey 5 days ago at 203.2 and i've now lost 4 pounds i'm so happy and i feel amazing great first day
8/12- 200.3 ok so this is kind of upsetting but i've been sick all week and yesterday was the worst of it but i will be back in onederland by tomorrow i know that for sure

8/11: 219 - I weighed a little less yesterday but not much. I was under my calories, rode my stationary bike, and took a walk so I'm guessing just water. I have to remember to drink more. I have been craving doughnuts all morning because I've been watching Twin Peaks.
8/12: 217.8 - This was surprising as I didn't work out and I overate because I had to have some Arby's and a shake! I was smart though, no mayo and removed a slice of bread and split the small shake so it wasn't too awful. Had blueberry french toast this morning and feel no guilt.

8/11 130.4 I was SHOCKED to see that number this morning.. I moved the scale & weighed myself 3 times just to make sure! This week I took a break from daily weighing, still got exercise in most days and was under calories. My last known weight (on Monday) was 133.2, so maybe I finally dropped that water weight & cold yuckiness I had been hanging on to. I’ve been dealing with a summer cold, so have felt kind of blah, but am finally feeling better and hoping that number wasn’t a fluke and can continue on the downward path. I’m sooo close to my ultimate goal weight!
8/12 130.8 Small gain, very little exercise and lots of cheese last night. So I'm actually pleased with such a small gain!

... OK - today DRINK WATER.
... I have NOT been ingesting fluids and am retaining water. I can feel the bloat in my skin. Today really drink water.
For people who have trouble remembering to drink water, someone on another thread mentioned an app called Plant Nanny that "waters" an animated plant every time you drink water. If you dont drink enough your plant will get thirsty or even die. It also sends reminders throughout the day.
Cute, but after trying a few apps I found that I prefer Water Drink Reminder. Along with reminders, it graphs your water intake, allows editing if you forget to log, and has a widget (at least for Android phones) showing how close you are to daily water goal. Having the widget on my home screen has been really helpful.5 -

Round 12 (My round 1) was a great round for me garnering a 9 pound loss. Most of that was the loss of weight gained during vacation so I am not expecting those kinds of results for this round.
For this round I will set my goal to 156 pounds.
10 August - 160.1 weight at the end of round 12 (my round 1) - So ready to break into the 150s
11 August - 159.2 OMAD + No Meat
12 August - 158.7 Today ended up being a splurge day so I am expecting a gain in the morning.

8/11 62.1 Fair enough. I had a lovely treat day yesterday, full of sugar, spice and all things nice, and salt led the assault. It was worth it!
8/12 63.3kg. Midnight snacking, that is. Ah well. Had a fantastic couch to 5k session yesterday.Onwards and downwards!
8/13 62.9kg Lovely sunny day. Planning to knock all the treats this week on the head from... now.
Worked out how to do my first ever backwards roll yesterday, when I was doing yoga stretches, and felt really athletic. Need to post that in the NSV thread!
