JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS - Round 13
Replies

R12 - start 242.2 .... finish.. 231.0
- total lost 11.2lbs ( although i had been down to
233 earlier that week... so more like 2lbs)
Goal this round - get to 227lbs.
Start weight 230.2
8/11 - 230.2 - hard day as i was out of the house doing errands this morning and had a salad from subway and snuck in 2 cookies. Then I had to bring my son to emerge and ended up get a cheese bagel with butter and Greek pasta salad. Then for dinner I was so exhausted I made a premade chicken rice teriyaki frozen bag for dinner and a piece or pork chop. I think i drank 1 bottle of water so I anticipate a jump tomorrow due to salt intake. Tomorrow is a new day!
8/12 - 230.6 - I'm relieved it only went up this much! Back on track today. I'm planning on getting in at least an hour walk. Track all my food today. And drink drink drink to flush out any extra salt.
8/13 - 230.4 - not my lowest yet but close. Had such a great day today. Ate well. Tracked everything. Went on a 8.5km walk with a friend and logged 11700 steps! I'm looking forward to what the scale has to say about this tomorrow.

8/12 - 73kg (160.9) - out for dinner last night and had pizza calzone so expected that
8/13 - 73.2kg (161.4) - no, all is good, another huge dinner and dessert out. On my 500 cal days now so will expect this number to go back down. Not stressing just yet
8/14 - 72.2kg (159.2) - on my last 500 calorie day for the week so hoping this comes down a lot more tomorrow

@cyranda63 Choosing to eat moderate portions of normal food is very sensible and healthy. I eat mostly the same basic foods that I always did, but these days, I choose to eat moderate portions. A little of what you fancy does you good, as they say.

I'm having another go, too! This is my 2nd round.
Goal weight: 61kg
R12 SW- 61.2 Final Weight- 61.8 Mean Average Weight- 61.8
8/11 62.1 Fair enough. I had a lovely treat day yesterday, full of sugar, spice and all things nice, and salt led the assault. It was worth it!
8/12 63.3kg. Midnight snacking, that is. Ah well. Had a fantastic couch to 5k session yesterday.Onwards and downwards!
8/13 62.9kg Lovely sunny day. Planning to knock all the treats this week on the head from... now.
Worked out how to do my first ever backwards roll yesterday, when I was doing yoga stretches, and felt really athletic. Need to post that in the NSV thread!
8/14 62.5 Hope the rest of it is water, too! Exciting day today- planning to buy some actual running shoes this week, and I might manage to fit it in today.

I'm in again. I am so, so very happy to start round 13 too! I did it peeps. As of this morning, I have hit my 20lb mark! I've lost all the weight my doctor told me to lose. However, I know it's still not my ideal weight by any means, so I'm going to keep pushing on.
CW: 182 lbs
GW: 180 lbs
UGW: 125 lbs
08/11: 182...Woo hoo!!!! I'm doing a happy dance!
08/12: 180.8...completely shocked by this #. It's such a big drop all at once, so I'm expecting it will more than likely go up tomorrow. I put in a lot of steps between housework and grocery shopping.
08/13: 180.4 lbs...still shocked over seeing this number, and it is working on creeping down still. I biked 6 miles yesterday. If I get in the 170s at all, this will be the first time since 2004 that I've seen it. After the birth of my first child, 3 years of depo were not good for me. So, I packed on 80 lbs. Idk what I'll do WHEN I see that number again.
8/14: 180.2 lbs...remaining steady now that I had the big WHOOSH. I had a harder time getting 48 oz. of water in yesterday. I didn't "exercise," but I did imo. I rearranged furniture in two rooms, and I swept my car and cleaned out the interior. I have 5 kids that ride in it, so that was a major undertaking.

Down a pound since this round started. I skipped on ice cream and wine last night when we had a BBQ. Feeling that was a success. Remember to give yourself credit for your successes! Focus on the positive.
I'm reading the Beck Diet Solutions book. It's about changing your thinking, and ridding yourself of sabotaging thoughts. Each day for 6 weeks you have a new task. Yesterday's was to find a diet buddy, someone to be accountable to. Lucky me I have all of you! When I post my weight, I'll include a phrase about that day's task (see above), perhaps someone else will be inspired as well. Have a great day.8 -
This is my first Round with this so goal is 179.XX
I always seem to stall at 180 and I my ultimate goal is 148.00
I am hoping this helps to keep on track daily
8/09 181.2 SW:
8/10 181.0 Had a bowl of Ice cream last night
8/11 182.4 Bowl of Ice cream day 2.. and eating bad at home Not real accountable today
8/12 180.6 No ice cream.. Ate better... trying to remember 1 day at a time
8/13 180.6 stayed the same No up and down so I am going to figure this is my real weight
8/14 181.2 back to the starting weight... Went to Casino and had sub for lunch and dinner so that didn't help

Good thing it's Monday and I have my 40ozer sitting at my desk waiting for me. Keeping my fingers crossed tomorrow or maybe wed I'll see a loss!

Good start, although the last time I got to this weight it was also a Friday and I screwed it up with the weekend. We will see what I can do. Yesterday I went over my calorie count but I was able to get up and do some walking which was a good start post cryosurgery (it was almost the entire bottom of both of my feet lol, so I'm surprised it hasn't gotten infected and that I'm able to do this much walking).
8/12: 130.6
No late night snacking yesterday, so I'm sure that helped. I've been making smarter choices and eating less. I don't have as many snacks laying around the house other than fruit and nuts. Great start to the weekend. Hopefully I can continue the downward trend. This was my second goal weight, but I decided to lower it another 5 lbs. I am just so amazed at what I have accomplished. I never thought I would get below 145.
8/13: 131.8
Ate more than planned yesterday. Usually happens with my niece in the house. We cook together and what not. Plus I didn't drink very much water.
8/14: 132

Day/Weight/Comment
8/11: 198.4 – up a few pounds. Went out last night.
8/12: 198 – So annoyed that I was 195.6 two days ago and now I feel like I’m starting last week all over just because of one night. And I worked sooooo hard.
8/13: 197.2 – Felt like giving up yesterday, so I went to the store and bought a bunch of fruit and food for low cal meals and went for a walk and now I’m re-energized. Thank goodness I didn’t give in. This has to be permanent this time.
8/14: 197 – great day all around yesterday.

8/11 - 193.6 they should have a happy dance emoji!
8/12 - 193.4
8/13 - 193.8 another day under calories but felt like I was cheating for some reason, I think it's because I was eating the same as the family and not modifying it for myself except for measuring portions.
8/14 - 193.4 had my big drop so I suspect I'm going to stay around this number for a while. Be nice to see 192 before the challenge ends

@TerriRichardson112 @nikki062181 I eat the same as my family but I prefer things closer to raw than cooked, ie rare meat, crunchy vegetables, whole fruit.. the kids like things dead and buried, cooked until soggy, and it doesn't help that they have their fathers metabolism so they are thin as rails. So normally I cook it to my liking and they pick at it and this time I cooked to their liking and I picked at it. Somehow it just feels like my body absorbs more of the soggy mushy stuff because it's easier to digest. Thanks girls for the comments.6 -

8/11 144 READY, SET, GO! Nice drop. Went to gym yesterday. Good workout. Didn't get much sleep last night and got woken by 2.5 yr old grandson. Wish I had his energy first thing in morning. Ellip today and perhaps some stretching. Happy Friday!
8/12 143.8 Love it. I'm in the 3's again. Too tired to exercise yesterday. Played with grandson most of day. Probably go to gym today. I'll need to get some exercise in as going to a friend's for dinner and that means a couple glasses of wine. Thank goodness she is also losing weight and eating healthy/clean/low cal, etc. I want to see some steady weight loss this round. I'm due, I tell ya! Happy Saturday!
8/13 143 I don't think this is a whoosh but food poisoning last night and the attendant vacating of the stomach. What a way to stay under calories. Blahhhhh.
8/14 143 Happy to see it stay the same. Ate well yesterday, stuck to protein and veggies and champagne grapes. Yum. no exercise. Just recovering from being ill. Ellip today and hopefully gym. It's Monday, start of a new week. Go for it!

Day/Weight/Comment
8/11 - Out of town with no scale and out of my exercise and food routine. Went over calories yesterday and very little movement due to seminar. One more day of this then back to my element so hopeful I can still meet goal for this round.
8/12 - 164.2 - *sigh* trying not to be too hard on myself for a less than a lb gain...no scale or exercise the last couple of days and more hungry than usual for some reason, although I did make good choices. Weekends are tough too food wise, so making a conscious commitment to lots of exercise and water and staying under calories these next two days.
8/13 - 163.8 - getting closer to where I started the round with a long workout, extra water and staying a tad bit under calories.
8/14 - 163.6 - everything on point yesterday. No time for exercise today so need to be extra conscious of eating.

Starting on August 11 - 20, JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS, we will begin Round 13! Lets see what more we can do as we reach a total of 130 days consecutively!
Anyone else game?
Weighing yourself everyday? Controversial you may say? Well for me personally, checking the scale can be motivating. I read in a study of 3,500 people who maintained 60 or more pounds of weight loss for at least a year, researchers from the National Weight Control Registry found that 44 percent weighed themselves every day. Another study in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine found that overweight people are six times more likely to lose weight if they weigh themselves at least once a day. I don't about you, but it helps me and motivates me to keep going or to tweak what I did the day before. I never weigh more than just once in the morning. Our weight fluctuates constantly throughout the day with what we drink and consume, so only make it a 'once a day' rule for sanity sake. ~Hillcrestbaby
Let's give it our best 10 days ever as we settle into mid-August!
Here is what to do: Post your daily weight and add little comments along the way of how your day went. Post everyday to let us know how you're doing! Copy and paste the days in your response--tell us how much you lost and other non scale victories (NSV) you'd like to share.

Here is what to do: Post your daily weight and add little comments along the way of how your day went. Post everyday to let us know how you're doing! Copy and paste the days in your response--tell us how much you lost and other non scale victories (NSV) you'd like to share.

8/20Starting on August 11 - 20, JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS, we will begin Round 13!

End of Round 12: 161.2
8/11: 160.2 - with today's weigh in, I have now officially lost 50 lbs since I started.
8/12: 159.2 - I ate like crap yesterday. Was within my calories, but next week wanna focus on eating better.
8/13: 157.4 - so if y'all have been following me you know last round I only lost about a pound over 10 days and I think the round before I lost less than a pound. Was super frustrated because I knew I hadn't been over my calories. Well, here appears to be the pounds I should've lost in the last few weeks. This has happened to me before. It's like my body gets to certain points and doesn't want to drop the weight and then suddenly I'll lose 4 lbs in a week. I guess the moral of this story is just trust the process. If you know you aren't overeating just be patient sooner or later the weight will come off. (And yes I weighed myself multiple times and used my weights to check my scale wasn't malfunctioning haha)

This has happened to me several times...I'll bounce around the same 2 lbs for a week or more and then WHOOSH...all of a sudden 3-4 lbs are gone. And then sometimes I'll bounce back up a bit and hang out there for a few days before I WHOOSH again and get lower than ever. That's why I've found weighing daily is more motivating for me. If I only weighed once a week or less I might miss my low days and feel like I'm getting nowhere, now I wait for the WHOOSH as I know it's going to happen.11
