College Football Pick'em (Think you can win?)
College Pick'em on ESPN
Always Free
Group Name: MFP Group
http://games.espn.com/college-football-pickem/2017/en/group?groupID=67502
Group Game Mode: Confidence - Pick the winners of each matchup. Then order your picks based on confidence. The higher the confidence, the more points you get for a correct pick.
So it's interesting we can make the loser do something silly, within reason. Any suggestions on what?

Georgia Tech suffered a safety while attempting a touchback, then lost to Miami in overtime.

I'll probably jump in before the deadline. It's requires less attention than fantasy football right? I never make it past 2-3 weeks of that.1

Yeah, it doesn't take much time, just pick the teams and what order you want. Can take 5 minutes a week.
Confidence: Here you're not only picking the winners of each matchup, you're RANKING each selection you make based on how confident you are. Your most confident pick will be assigned 10 Points while the least will be assigned 1, placing an added emphasis on correctly selecting your top picks.0 -
FYI - the max points you can get for one week is 55 points.0

Don't forget to make your picks. College football starts Saturday! (for all the real teams, yes I know Ohio State is playing Thursday, like I said, all the real teams.)2

My habit of rooting for the underdogs will ruin any chance I have of winning in this thing.0

Many of you picked Penn St vs Akron for 1 point, that means you have the lowest confidence that Penn will beat Akron. That seems strange since Penn st is highly likely to win. My guess is you may have thought the numbers are rankings and not points. If you wanted it to be a high confidence pick, thus getting you the most points, you need to pick it at 10. The numbers are the points not rankings.
It's not to late to change picks, as you can change your mind until the game starts.0 -

Crap! I thought it was order of confidence like 1 was most confident
When they reordered how they did it, the same thing happened to me in my first game. But you can still change your other picks order. It makes it seem like 10 is the lowest rank but it's really the most points/highest confidence.0 -

Crap, I had them in positioned as 1 being most confident. I fixed what I could. Thanks for the heads up0 -

So much for having Alabama on their every week for an easy pick to put your #10 confidence on. Should be some good match ups this weekend.0
