I will tell you one thing that ACV is good for and it WORKS EVERYTIME!!! It is my run to cure for fruit fly infestation. I hate me some gnats! Have you ever had that one or two you couldn't catch or all of a sudden those fruit peels in the garbage went rogue and when you grabbed it the cloud of flies flew out?! Pour some ACV in the bottom of a bowl, put saran wrap over the top, secure with string or rubber band and poke holes with a fork in wrap. Retighten so it's taut. Some folks put a drop or two of dish soap in but sit it on counter and overnight those pesky flies have crawled in and drowned. Don't know why they don't manage to get back out but... as long as you don't hover and just leave it alone.....it's great.
