10/30 - 193.0 lbs - excited to do this challenge and praying I last the round!
10/31 - 192.4 lbs - no exercise routine yesterday because I did gardening which was very active and tiring.
11/01 - 191.6 lbs - really pleased with that. I'm staying on track so far - logging cals and working out.
11/02 - 192.0 lbs - I was a little 'picky' yesterday! Confident it will come down again tomorrow. Mostly on track.
11/03 - 192.0 lbs - it will come down tomorrow. I was under a little yesterday. Still working out
11/04 - 192.2 lbs - I've been good so it has to come down soon. Not too worried yet! Premenstrual too.
11/05 - 192.0 lbs - pleased to see it coming down again.
11/06 - 193.0 lbs - picking too much. I am still logging and working out so all is not lost! Sigh!

I HAVE the power and determination to do this.
In the middle of Round 20, it occured to me that I may have reached my maintenance weight. I have hovered around 159 for weeks, despite keeping to my calorie goal, (10% below my TDEE), and doing loads of exercise, (and eating back minimal exercise calories). I am in the normal range for my age height and build, so I wondered if I was being realistic in my Target Goal Weight. I'm fitter and healthier than I have been for decades. I think fit and healthy should be my new focus rather than weight loss!
New Primary Goal - stay under 160lbs.
Losing a pound would be ace, as I would like a cushion for celebrations.to all the Newbies, and Hi to those returning for another Round. This has given me an element of daily accountability which is motivational.
Observations, and Previous RoundsMany events along the way will scupper our best intentions, but they merely delay the achievement of our goals. Life is for living, and one must learn patience. It takes many years to put on excess weight, so It follows that it takes much time to remove, but it does come off, bit by stubborn bit! If you stick with it! The game continues!29/10/2017: 159.0 Goals ✅ Holding steady! And still under 160. I call that a successful Round.
A lot of people get upset by apparent weight gain when they have been working their butts off. Body weight fluctuates, both up, and down, from one day to the next depending on so many factors. From my experience:- Changes often take several days to show on the scale.
- A drop is often followed by a bounce up before it settles back down. A general downward trend is the aim.
- A high sodium day usually results in a gain due to water retention, unless you drink extra fluids to flush it out.
If you are making positive lifestyle changes it will lead to increased health and fitness.
Slow and steady leads to sustainable weight loss.
But remember to live a little along the way!

Round 21 - The Plan:
I am away for work for a few days this round so will be practicing intermittent fasting and will have to remember to take my water bottle with me. Got into a good groove last round so looking to keep that going. Would like to get some more exercise this time around though as I only made it out twice last round.

10/30 - 65.6kg - Had a lovely day of not counting yesterday as a bit of mental reprieve. Enjoyed a glass of wine and spaghetti for dinner with my partner. The blip on the scale was expected. Back to high protein, low carb, intermittent fasting for the rest of the round. C'mon goal weight!
10/31- 65.0kg - Good day yesterday, managed to stay away from all the sweets that are in the house at the moment. Almost down past my finishing weight for last round. Didn't get any exercise yesterday but will be hitting the gym today!
11/1 - 64.4kg - YAY!! So happy to see my lowest weight in over 12 months. Bye bye TOM. The plan is working! Prepped my dinner to eat in my hotel tonight (so so boring but necessary) and will be seeking out healthy options while I'm in London. Looking forward to potentially being at my mini-goal by the time I get back to my scale!
11/2 - Away from scale - had a super hungry day yesterday but managed to stick to the plan. Definitely under my water goal. London tap water BLERGH. Eating light today because I'm out with a work colleague for dinner tonight. Going to stick to max two glasses of wine and will order vegetable and protein off the menu (sauce on the side of course).
11/3 - Away from scale - well the plan to only have two wines last night didn't happen hahaha. Did well with dinner though. Feeling a little sorry for myself today and trying to stay away from the food car on the train home. A Kit Kat is calling my name haha

I started my weight loss journey at 202lbs, but I started with this group back in Round 8. Then, I weighed 195 lbs, and as of today, in Round 21, I weigh 170. I also decided to take another step and joined another support group through MFP because with the holidays coming up, I fear that I am going to struggle to be mindful, exercise, and eat healthy. It's a competition where you join Team A (which wants to lose 15 lbs by January 4th) or Team B (which wants to lose 20 lbs by January 4th.) They do weigh ins on Monday's, and since I'm already weighing in for our amazing group here, and I need that extra accountability over the next few months, I joined Team A. If you find yourself in the same boat, it would be nice to see some familiar faces.
Last day to join is today. Here's to seeing and sticking in the 160s.

Last round I FINALLY made it out of the 90's for the first time in nearly a year and a half! This time I have TOM so my I'm going to take it slow and not have my expectations too high.
Goal for this round: Stay in the 80's and try to see 186.0

11/1 - 189.8 Yikes! Moving in the WRONG direction. This is the result of one really naughty meal. I'm bloated and feeling yucky and regret it, so I'll do much better today!
11/2 - 189.4 A bit of the bloating gone. Hopefully by tomorrow I'll be back to where I should be.
11/3 - 188.8 OK. This is better. Back on track!
11/4 - 187.6 Yay!!! Now things start getting serious! I want to see 187.? For the next 4 days!!!
11/5 - 188.2 I'm REALLY upset by this number this morning. I don't know why it has hit me this hard, but I'm feeling really really down about it. I just want to stay below 188 so badly. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

10/31 - 171.4 - A loss is a loss is a WIN! Staying focused and working hard. Off to the gym to run and lift.
11/1 - 171.6 - Yuck!!! Hanging in there.
11/2 - 172.4 - Ouch! And that's what happens folks when you don't work the plan as you should. I own it and I'm really mad at myself for giving up on me. Today is a new day and new mindset. I expect good results tomorrow.
11/3 - 172.4 - Well I got nothin. Off to run a few miles and lift weights.

10/30 starting weight 162.0 First day of tracking again in quite a while. I know it works....just need to get back to it and start being more active.
10/31 162 Tracked everything yesterday and today….getting back to being accountable again. I was hungry several times today, but resisted for the most part because I knew what I had left for calories and also tried to make good choices when I felt I couldn’t hold out.
11/1 161 Old fashioned scale…..so need to see the needle actually move to know that I have lost. Plan to keep on tracking as I need to and not mindlessly eating when I get home from work.
11/2 161 Yesterday was a really hungry day….held off and stayed within my range including activity…weekend coming up will be difficult.

10/30: 158.0 Very happy to see this number again! Not sure what today will bring. Maine got a crazy storm. No power, schools closed, work closed, roads closed, power lines down everywhere! It could be days without power. We have a generator though so hopefully sticking with plan as much as possible!
10/31: 158.0 Still no power and estimates are it might be Saturday before we get it! Our road has at least 6 trees hanging/down on power lines. I was bad last night and consumed too much alcohol. Kicking myself for the hangover today. A good reminder why I don't do that anymore! Back to business tomorrow!
11/1: 157.2 We got power back this evening! No candy temptations yet. Our town postponed trick or treating to Friday due to downed lines everywhere.
11/2: 158.2 Expected fluctuation. Had dinner at my in laws last night before getting our power back. Salty and carbs with a small dessert. Didn't enter it into MFP. So happy to get back to semi normal life today. Still no school for kids but I can use the treadmill today. W5D2 of C25K today!
11/3: 158.0 TOM started. Nice number to see considering this! Our trick or treating will be tonight so hello influx of candy! Will try to plan for a few pieces and continue to moderate! Looking forward to the weekend after this wild week.
11/4: 156.8 Nice number this morning. Feeling confident going onto the weekend. Nowhere to be so planning on cleaning, yard work and exercise both days.
11/5: 157.0 Not a great night of sleep. Daughter woke with a fever. Did W5D3 of C25K yesterday which was 20 minutes straight running; nailed it! Such a big accomplishment as I've never considered myself a "runner".
11/6: 159.8 Oh Gosh. Hello water weight. I did so much yard work yesterday that I have some sore muscles this morning. Feels great though!

29/10 - 195lbs - In R 20 I saw my lowest number yet (193lbs) but then the dreaded TOM appeared in the last days and the weight went back up again! but all in all I am happy with my results over the last 2 rounds. Moving in the right direction.

31/10 - 195.2 - Just back from the doctors ... I have a 40 week wait - yes 40 to see a spinal doctor about the pain in my back and leg and also for an MRI scan ... till then its pain killers to keep me moving -- 40 weeks .. wow!!

11/05 - 219.2 Did so good at birthday party and then late night run to Taco Bell. Blew it. Chose to eat the shell, otherwise I would have been ok. Have to dwell on total loss so far and fact that today is a new day and I can make good choices that support my goals. I can also prepare a few meals that can be fixed in a hurry
11/06 - 220 - Another small gain - Had company all day, off and on. They had eaten before they came and I didnt want to cook my meal while they were visiting. Therefore skipped lunch and dinner and made another Taco Bell run. Two Taco Supremes. Add some small bites of snack mix and peanut butter and had 3/4 lb weight gain. Have to prepare emergency foods or I will not succeed

GW - 145- smashed this about 2 weeks ago. I'm currently trying to figure out my best calorie level to be able to maintain between 144 and 146. I'm pretty happy where I'm at weight wise and have some fitness goals I want to work on over the next 6 months or so. I dipped into the 143's last round...
10/29 - 145.6 - coming in from round 20. I've picked up a lovely fall head cold and haven't been moving much and not eating as well as I should.

10/30 - 147.0 - BLEH!!! Feeling super bloated today. Still really run down from the cold. Jacking up the vitamins and going to get lots of water in me today to flush this thing out!! To much to do this week.
10/31 - 146.8 - Over did it a little (ok...maybe a lot) with the Popcorners yesterday...salty and carby is not helping to get rid of this bloat.
11/1 - 146.6 - SLOWWWLLLYYY chipping this back off...going to keep the salt and carbs down today...I promise!!
11/2 - Totally forgot to get on the scale this morning. The main hwy was closed due to a terrible accident all day yesterday so I went online and turned on the radio first thing to see if I would be able to get into my client today and messed up my regular routine...
11/3 - 145.4 - back in my target range...going to try the trails this morning and see how mucky they are after the rain yesterday...might be giving the dog a bath today LOL.
11/4 - 144.6 - Great run yesterday and did some major house cleaning...didn't stop moving all day. Probably didn't drink enough water, and had a few cocktails last night so some of this dip may be dehydration. Heading out for another trail run today, need to take advantage of outdoor exercise while the weather holds
11/5 - 144.2 - had another go go go day yesterday. Still trying to work out the calorie sweet spot for maintaining, especially on very active days.
11/6 - 145.8 - Homemade lasagna for dinner last night...totally worth it!!
