Starting on October 30 - November 8, JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS, we will begin Round 21! Lets see what more we can do as we reach a total of 210 days consecutively!
Anyone else game?
Let's give it our best 10 days ever! Halloween is coming up soon and those treats will be additional temptation during this time. Followed quickly by Thanksgiving (US) and Christmas. This will be a trying time for a lot of us! If we stay mindful we can do this, you can do this. Welcome back past members, welcome new members, let's keep each other accountable for another 10 days!
Here is what you do: Post your daily weight and add little comments along the way of how your day went. Post everyday to let us know how you're doing! Copy and paste the days in your response--tell us how much you lost and other non scale victories (NSV) you'd like to share.

Almost gave up in Round 20 due to climbing weight, cold mornings and generalized laziness.
So glad I continued. This time of the year is particularly prone to losing momentum. I really need this!

HELPFUL POSTING TIP FOR NEWCOMERS:
1) HOW TO FIND/EDIT YOUR PREVIOUS POST.
People do this different ways. There is no "easy" way to find your last post, so many people keep their weigh-ins and comments in Memo or Notes on their phones or computers, then copy and paste into a new post.
Alternatively, you could remember the page or date & time you posted last. Also, MFP will automatically return you to the last post you read in a particular thread, so if you read everyone else's posts first, then post yours and close the thread, you should pop back to your last post.
When you find your post, "Quote" it, then remove [ quote ] and [ /quote ] in your new message.
(Personally I find the copy/paste from Memo/Notes method to be the simplest!)
2) EMOJIS
Only use the MFP emojis (BBCode) otherwise your post may be cut off. Use the drop down menu on the top right of the reply box or type : then the first letter of the emotion you are looking for (s for smile, l for lol, e for embarrassed, etc.)
Welcome aboard the JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS train! Woot-woot!!5 -
I'm in again! I'd like to lose a pound this round, but my bigger goal is to just ride it out. The last 10 (9!) pounds are a lot harder to drop, and I refuse to reduce my calories too low. So now I have to cultivate mindful patience with myself and the scale.
Ultimate goal - 140
R21 Goals: eat well, clean & mostly healthfully, walk an hour most days. Focus on the long view and be patient.

Good morning all.....I found this Challenge last week (Round 20) and couldn't wait for Round 21 to start. Very happy to be a part of this. I have tried the 30 day Challenges in the past, but I get bored with them about halfway through, and then all hell breaks loose! Hoping that I can hang on for 10 days and then join again. I want to lose about 15 pounds. No pressure, No time limit....just create some New Good Habits!

Hello I am new to the challenge and have only been dieting for a week and a half. I hope I can keep up with the challenge to stop me 'drifting' away from my calorie counting where I get lax and guess things which can get out of control. Also looking to start the Jenny Ford 30 day fitness challenge tomorrow too.
Goals are - log all calories daily
Exercise 6 days a week

Back again! I started midway through Round 2 at 153.9 on 4/29. For this round I'd like to get below and stay below 140. Started at 162 something back in early March so I'm down over 20 pounds. I am aiming to reach goal of 132 before New Years.

I started my weight loss journey at 202lbs, but I started with this group back in Round 8. Then, I weighed 195 lbs, and as of today, in Round 21, I weigh 170. I also decided to take another step and joined another support group through MFP because with the holidays coming up, I fear that I am going to struggle to be mindful, exercise, and eat healthy. It's a competition where you join Team A (which wants to lose 15 lbs by January 4th) or Team B (which wants to lose 20 lbs by January 4th.) They do weigh ins on Monday's, and since I'm already weighing in for our amazing group here, and I need that extra accountability over the next few months, I joined Team A. If you find yourself in the same boat, it would be nice to see some familiar faces. Last day to join is today. Here's to seeing and sticking in the 160s.

If anyone wants an example of the impact of sodium and water weight, here it is! In 12 days of traveling and eating out, I put on over 10 pounds. In the 11 days I’ve been home, I dropped it back off!
Back to the inexorable trudge toward being simply overweight rather than obese! And finally on to a normal BMI!

I weigh first thing in the morning when I get up. My scale only has 1/2# increments, and I'm too cheap to buy a fancier scale. Comments reflect prior day.10/20/17: Oooh, I like this thread! I've been weighing myself daily since April, keeping track in MFP Food Notes, and logging my "official" weigh-ins on Saturdays. I've been amazed at how much my weight can fluctuate from day to day, depending on eating out or processed foods, adult beverages, net calories green or red, etc. Daily weigh-ins really help me see cause and effect with high sodium days, adult beverages, too much sugar, etc. I don't get freaked out as much by a jump on the scale now, since I know what I did to cause it, and what I can do to change it. My scale measures in 1/2 # increments, and I'm too cheap to buy a fancier scale.Round 20
