I guessed myself 5% bigger than what I really am. I am a perfect Pear shape. Very interesting! Thanks for sharing this site.0

Someone posted this several days ago and I guessed that I was SMALLER than I really was! I just clicked under the one I thought I was instead of sliding so I didn't know I could pick between models, which I am.0

Mind.....blown.
Seriously. I still don't believe it.
I can't see myself like it is saying. It says I guessed myself 25% too big! (I'm 25% smaller than I guessed). I picked the second to last one and it claims I am the 4th in the lineup from the left.
I know I have body image problems....
But... there is no way I look like the 4th one.
Edited to add: It says I am the perfect pear shape.
Also to add: I have read many comments here and it seems I am one of the farthest away at 25%. I guessed myself 5 sizes, YES FIVE SIZES, too big. I still don't get it. Like I said, I know I have body image issues, but seriously.... I measured just now and put them in so I know they were right... there is no way.0 -
marking this to do on my lunch break. ^_^0

Now if I could find a similar site that also takes into account HEIGHT because that has to be the discrepancy here.... since it doesn't take that into account. My measurements may be the size shown if I were a model's height 5'9" or more, but since I'm only 5'3" my measurements are of course much bigger!
Not a lot of stalk in this...though I still admit to having body image issues, but it's certainly not as bad as the site would suggest.0 -
Wow. I'm 12.5% smaller than I think and am a classic pear shape. Neat.
^This!
Very interesting exercise in body image!
I said I was from Greater London! LOL
In addition to the pear confirmation, apparently, my shape is like Beyonce. Has anyone seen Barber Shop? "....woman with a big *kitten* or a big *kitten* woman".0 -
Another really great website to look for women who are the same size as you is: http://www.mybodygallery.com/0

That's interesting! I guessed myself 7.5% too big!

I guess 20% too big. Defiantly helps seeing the results.0

It doesn't work on iPad.0

This is really eye-opening. I thought I'd get it spot on but I was 5% smaller than I perceive myself to be.
People at the gym had been saying such, but I just discounted it, thinking they were just being supportive and encouraging. It's really amazing how the mind sees the body, even after months of losing weight.0 -
I was 7.5% smaller than I thought. I really studied too and thought I picked the most honest one. Still, it doesn't make me feel any better about how I look :sad:0

I guessed 17.5 % bigger.0

I guessed it right on... and I'm actually a little disappointed! See, I thought that I saw myself as bigger than I am (now) and I guess I don't. :frown:0
-
I guessed my correct size. All those years of sewing and tailoring clothes came in handy.0

Wow! Amazing. I guessed that I was 17.5 % bigger than I really am. My view is clearly off when it comes to my body. Never new that. What an eye opener!0

you are 7.5% smaller than you think you are...
Almost every woman I know would guess herself to be bigger then she is, I wonder why that is. Why are we so hard on ourselves? It really makes you think.
I just hit 24lb weight loss and my dh is telling me how great I look, and how proud he is of me, and what do I say back..... "Thanks, but I have still so far to go"...... Why do I do that? I really makes me sad when I think about that. I'm going to do better to not be so hard on myself and learn to take a compliment and be as proud of myself as he is0 -
What a tremendously inspirational and encouraging site...I found out I was--- you are 20% smaller than you think you are...
Your measurements indicate that you're actually smaller than the size you guessed on the sliding scale!
I also loved the positive and uplifting message it gave me too...
you are the perfect rectangle
Rectangle: Your shoulders, waist and hips are similar in width, creating a long, lean body shape. Also known as an 'athletic' shape, your figure is absolutely perfect for heavily sculpted outfits with lots of shape and layering, so be adventurous with your choices! You're starting with a blank canvas in terms of shape, meaning you can highlight your figure with straight lines - with a well-fitting soft blazer, for example. A-symmetrical hems are a great option for an eye-catching dressy outfit, while you'll find that fluted edges and frilled hems will give you a little shape wherever you want them to!
 How encouraging this message is to me :smooched: Says my shape is like Gwenneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz, and Jessica Ennis. It's true, when I was slim & trim...I was shaped like these women.
The model they said I am DOES look like my body shape--the model I picked was actually 4 sizes BIGGER than I guessed I looked like. WOW, this is wondrous to me. I'm actually going to change my weight loss goal because of this. Instead of trying to lose 70 pounds...I'm going to start with 20% lower than I currently weigh or 40 pounds instead, which is a HUGE inspiration and so doable than 70 pounds is. THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS--YOU ROCK0 -
