Search for "human flesh jerky". It's in the database.

Like any other animal, it depends on which part of the body you are inquiring about.

Also, it's important to be responsible and always buy local, antibiotic free, and organic when possible. Humans are exposed to so many toxins in the modern world.

The fat will have 9 calories per gram, the protein will have 4 calories per gram. You can probably use pork as a good approximation for caloric content as genetically we are 99% alike.

I had considered this as well, but I think chimpanzee might be ultimately closer.

One could always scan the label on a package of Soylent Green to find out. It's made of people.

<<Runs off to check the database for chimpanzee meat.

Nope, not there. Breast milk, semen, and human flesh jerky, but no bushmeat.

Considering the Dictionary is constantly changing, and quite possibly has 'slang' terms in it, so it isn't perfect. Even in SEX documentaries (like one from last night on Destination America) they refer to us as mammals as we are part of a small group of 'mammals' aka animals that mate for life. [Shrug]

Webster: one of the lower animals as distinguished from human beings
dictionary.com: any such living thing other than a human being.

Which one are you looking at?

Say you ate a lean pound of human flesh it would be about 1800 calories.
