I remember trying to play a game that was saved over 6 floppies!!
I had floppies, but not the “modern” 3.5” ones, I think they were 5 or 7 inch ones. Windows 3.1 and dos I believe we’re my first pc, playing woldenstein, commander keen, math and word rescue, monster bash.
Typing goobers at the start of the command when opening Wolfe stein to unlock cheats comes to mind.
While I am going down the nostalgia path, I had a mini record player as a kid, tv with dials (unsure if that was because of the 90s or being poor, or both :P)1 -
Woo hoo! I still have some VHS tapes with no player to watch them on. Still got my high school cheerleading videos on VHS!!1
-
I have a dvd AND vhs player.....to watch my buns of steel workout video2

Ummmm! What about when MTV played music videos???!!???
I used to watch rage every weekend. Between like midnight and like 6am the music videos were in random order and “artistic” borderline nightmare fuel for a child.
After 6 in the morning it started the top 100 so you got more normal songs and film clips.
Not sure if rage still exists, haven’t seen it in years.
Rage ra ra rage ra ra rage raaaaaaaaaaaaaage

Anyone remember round the twist, was that broadcast anywhere outside Australia.
Such a wierd show from what I remember. Even weirder when you realise it was a kids show that involved magical fish that helped you swim and just wierd stuff0 -
Remember " Benji " ?? Love it1
