12/19 - 136.6 - Under calories yesterday, no workout, got diagnosed with a stye so 1) on antibiotics and 2) stay away from the gym for others' sakes and 3) when I go back to the gym, wipe those machines before as well as after I use them!
12/20 - 136.4 - under calories yesterday, no workout, but got all the Christmas boxes off (well almost). Feeling better, tonight a workout and early to bed.
12/21 - 134.8 - Whooosh! I bounce a lot but I will take this.
12/22 - 135.4 - expected rebound. Good workout yesterday, (barely) within calories. THANKS FOR KEEPING ME MOTIVATED, posting on this thread helps me!

12/10: 161.0 Annnd it's bounce-back time. To be honest, I snacked with hubby after getting home late last night from classic holiday movie (A White Christmas) at theatre...he's used to eating after his shift ends at midnight, and I ate right along with him. Net calories red, sodium very red and 12c water. Walked dog 3.07 miles. Fitbit 16,142 steps, 250+ steps 11/14 hours & 17 floors.
12/11: 160.0 Net calories green, sodium red & 14c water. Walked dog 3.56 miles. Fitbit 17,803 steps, 250+ steps 12/14 hours & 38 floors.
12/12: 160.0 All numbers red except sugar & 15c water. Walked dog 3.11 miles before work, landed on my backside b/c of snow-covered ice patch & switching to indoor workouts for winter. Sad dog. Fitbit 15,643 steps, 250+ steps 12/14 hours & 38 floors.
12/13: 160.0 Net calories barely green, sodium not so bad, sugar red mostly from fruit, and 15c water. Walked 1 mile in workplace hike at lunchtime. Fitbit 13,953 steps, 250+ steps 12/14 hours & 33 floors.
12/14: 160.0 Treadmill 3 miles / 50:35 and shoveled snow 1 hr. (est. 8") / thank heavens for kind-hearted neighbor with snowblower. Fitbit 18,353 steps, 250+ steps 14/14 (boom!) hours & 39 floors. Net calories, sodium & sugar all green! 14c water, could've had more with all my activity.

12/16: 158.0 Getting enough fiber helps! Net calories green, sodium good, sugar red due to lots of fruit, fiber 30g & 17c water. Walked treadmill 3 miles / 51:43. Fitbit 14,520 steps, 250+ steps 13/14 (noon class) hours & 31 floors. Still fighting off a cold, lots of zinc & water today.
12/17: 159.0 Hate this cold that's trying to get me! Shoveled snow 34 minutes. Fitbit 11,051 steps, 250+ steps 9/14 hours & 13 floors. Net calories, sodium & sugar green, fiber 20g & 14c water.
12/18: 160.0 Still fighting off a cold, going to listen to my body, skip workouts & get more sleep. More important to fight off cold than get workouts in, especially being so busy with Christmas preparations. Keep pushing zinc tablets, extra vitamin C & water. Workouts will resume once (a) I feel better and (b) crazy busy-ness ends. Net calories barely green but sodium very red & light on fiber (again) / 12c water. 12/21: 158.0 Little surprised / workplace Xmas party at lunch yesterday, then went overboard with Christmas peanut M&Ms while decorating at home. Still no workouts due to busy-ness and my cold. Round 26 - last chance for 2017
Started this year @ 112 lbs. Have been working on losing back to my normal weight of 104-107 lbs for the past 10 years!
Goal Weight: 105 lbs.

12/20 105.6 - 1500 Calories! Having annual labs drawn today. The weight loss should improve by Cholesterol and A1C
12/21 105.9 - Going to get my Dexa-scan today (osteopenia) but the report will also show my body fat percent.
12/22 106.6 - ate >1900 Calories yesterday, dark chocolate, dried fruit with cashews and red wine were worth it.
Weighed prior to the Dexa-scan middle of the day: 107.7 lbs. The great news was that my height taken at the appointment was unchanged. Body Fat on the home scale was 22% (usually 24% due to dehydration in the morning). Will be fun to compare my scale (22%) to my Dexa results.

No problem here! I drove for 5 hours yesterday and while I didn’t completely follow my food plans for the day, I did take frequent breaks to stretch and walk around. I was also really diligent about hydrating and not mindlessly snacking. Now to keep it up for the longer haul today!

Happy surprise loss! Yesterday’s drive was about 12 hours. I had a hard time staying within my calories, but I allowed myself to go over a bit because I felt legitimately hungry and decided to listen to my body. I also prioritized water and tons of breaks for walking around. I have 5-6 more hours of driving today, depending on mountain road conditions. Can’t wait to get there tonight and see my family!

12/19 172.5 - Honestly yesterday was a pretty good day for me! I went to yoga at lunch, I ate a reasonable dinner and didn't snack at night. I did eat a red velvet cupcake at lunch from work, couldn't help myself, I was too hungry and didn't pack a big enough lunch of my own.
12/20 172.5 - Glad to know I'm maintaining this, despite the fact that I ate a large dinner last night. Felt too full! I hate that feeling. Must listen to hunger cues better moving forward this week. On the bright side, I ate well during the day and I had a kick-a** spin class in the evening.
12/21 173.5 - missed posting yesterday but I did weigh myself. not surprised because i ate salty snacks (chips) at night while watching the Bachelor Canada Finale. The finale was underwhelming, and so were the chips! Remind me not to eat those anymore. I don't eat them that often but whenever I do I'm like...why tho.
12/22 173 - I had pizza last night. I ate well and quite light throughout the day so I'm not overly concerned about these fluctuations, plus it's my TOM so...I'm going to be forgiving about weight fluctuations.

Love this challenge! You guys help me keep up the motivation to make the right choices each day (and goodness knows this is the 10 days I'm gonna need it the most).

12/19 - 220.2 - NSV - after what feels like weeks of eating sandwiches and previously made meal preps from earlier this month, I finally had time to make dinner after work. Usually it's draining but it's nice to not have to microwave dinner.
12/20 - 219.6 - NSV - steps in, only gave into the cookie cravings a few time.
12/21 - 218.8 - let the wooing begin!! Whatever, I haven't seen the 218 on the scale for over 10 years so I'm pretty damn proud at the moment, and you can't bring me down today. Don't worry, it'll go up at Christmas cause I'm going to eat all the turkey and I'll also be petty happy with myself then too.
12/22 - 219.6 - looks like I'm regulating and this also probably marks the start of the alcohol consumption bump (I do hope the concerned wooing folks are feeling better now ), seems even one drink spikes the scales which is normal for me. Since I'll be having a few for the next few days I'm expecting the rest of this round might be gains, which is fine, it's the holidays and I'll be back to a regular routine again in January.

I'd be higher but I was too nauseated to eat yesterday. I feel fine today (it was a reaction to an antibiotic) but it gives me a chance to reset. I've hard a hard time since Thanksgiving, with holiday gatherings and all. For the rest of the month I just don't want to lose ground and I'd love to see several days under 160.

Twenty pounds lost since starting this group! Lost more last round than in the entire month of November.
Going out of town before the end of the round and not taking my scale. Will enjoy your lovely company until then.

Good morning everyone! Christmas is right around the corner, and I have this amazing tray of cookies, caramel, and fudge that all of us staff and our parents made. I haven't even ate a single one of them either in the 3 days it's been home. Sure, I've given them to my children and my husband to nibble on, but I've stayed away. I'm so proud! Honestly, it was so hard when I first started dieting to stay away from all of that sweet stuff, especially chocolate, but not anymore. I don't even crave it except on very rare occasions. I never thought that would be possible.
12/19: 165.4 Haven't been drinking well and was pretty sedentary most of the day. I was in a lot of meetings all day.
12/20 164.2 Stomach is upset this morning. I hope it passes.
12/21 164.4 I am incredibly stressed out right now, and I wonder if it will ever stop.
12/22 164.4 Another stressful day. I just want things to calm down.

12/19 - 100.4 - Out and about, I failed to eat proper food, salt-loaded snacks. I’m traveling today (no less than 4 flights!) so my goal is no snacks on flights! And healthy choice at client lunch.
12/20 - 100.4
12/21 - Travelling no time for weighing
12/22 - 101.4 - Bad food choices yesterday, not enough liquids hopefully the situation will be redressed today
12/23 - 100.8 - OK back in control though I ate way more carbs than I would have liked! Drank all my water though

Goal for this round: Damage control! Be very careful about all the extra goodies that will be everywhere and exercise as much as possible to offset calories.
12/19: 180.6 Two parties yesterday, so a .8 gain is WAY better than it would have been had I not been on these challenges.
12/20: 180.2 Was hoping for more loss than that, especially after a killer workout yesterday, but I’ll take it.
12/21: 179 Made myself go back to the gym last night at 8 pm. It worked!
12/22: 178.8 Took a 1.5 mile walk in the afternoon. Had a few goodies, but not TOO many. NSV: Except for the sausage balls, they aren’t as appealing this year.
12/23: 177.8 WooHoo! Had Christmas dinner with daughter’s little family, and STILL lost a pound! 15K+ steps, 1.5 mi walk in the morning, walked through two parks with Christmas lights displays with the kids at night. Enjoyed small pieces of two different pies, but scheduled dinner mid-afternoon instead of late in the day which helped, I think.

This round I'm going to try to keep within daily calorie limit, even when the refrigerator is full of leftover turkey. It'll be a real challenge to maintain where I am, but I find coming here daily really helpful.

12/20. 189.4. Every day I’m staying in this range is great!
12/21. 189.4. Couldn’t ask for any better with the way things are going
12/22. 188.6. I’m watching the food calories, but when it comes to the wine calories, I’m well up on the naughty list.
12/23. 189.4. There have been years where I have really stacked it on over the holidays. It doesn’t look like this is going to be one of them. Just a matter of keeping it in check the next couple days then I’ll have a great place to start the downwards trip again.

This is my first day and my first challenge, starting at 169lbs, highest I have ever been.

12/20 - 166.6lbs my body must be in shock!Whoop!!
12/21 - 166.2lbs Need to have more water- feel really dehydrated this morning
12/22 - 165.4lbs I’m so shocked! But I think the reality is I binged for about a week before I started this challenge but happy it’s moving. Out for Christmas drinks tonight so not too sure if tomorrow will be good!
12/23 - 165.4lbs happy with this as I was out last night but I am definitely more mindful of what I’m eating/drinking because of this challenge. I would be happy to finish at 165 by the end of this challenge to set me up for the new year!
