Take it off while your young I'm also only 5 feet been chubby since I had my second child and that's 44 years ago. Don't do that kick it in the butt now.

I'm just coming in from doing soup and sand. at Legion Had 49 for lunch so pretty good. And all I had was a bowl of Chilli with a bun.

Seen a nice B/S count low carbing is working. Tops tonight.

    See you all lighter.

    Welcome aboard!

My easy go to for breakfast is hard boiled eggs. I can take them with me and eat on the way with some fruit AND COFFEE! LoL

    @Jimb376mfp Thanks!

I can't do traditional breakfast foods unfortunately, no eggs, no oatmeal, no cereal, really tired of PB on toast, no smoothies! I sometimes make salads and I can do homemade protein pancakes but I'm constantly on the search for new ideas so I don't get bored.

I would like to join for the last 45 weeks. All my weight gain was due initially to hashimotos and my cervical&lumber herniations. Then this last Aug 2017 my DH passed in his sleep from a pulmonary embolism that caused a massive heart attack. I was so depressed I ate my way to this. Yesterday I received the news that I am T2 diabetic. On top of it all, my sister in law lives with me (not my choice) and she eats junk ALL THE TIME!
My goal is to lose a minimum of 50 lbs. Weekly weigh in day for me will be Thursdays.

    Starting weight:118.2 kg

    1/11= 118.2
    1/18 = 117.5
    1/25 = 117.5
    1/30 = 115.6
    2/5 = 114.6
    2/10 = 113.4
    2/17 = 112.2

    This week's successes:

Can now do Leslie Sansone for 3 miles....very exciting!!! I cried when I did it the first time!! =)

I kept going with calories and exercise no matter what my mind said. On Tuesday I had pea and ham soup and really wanted butter on my toast, but I refused and rubbed it with garlic instead like I was meant to, and what my calories allowed for.

I started having a tiny bit of popcorn at night time (around 10 grams) I was worried about it at first, but it turns out it wasnt a problem. (as long as I keep it to that small portion)

On Wednesday I bought a bag of werther's original sugar free caramel toffees, I basically at the whole bag, I was still under calories....but I wasnt happy about it. I won't be buying those again...they tasted just tooo bloody good!! and wayyy to hard to resist.

This week's challenges: Do Leslie Sansone 3 miles 6 days a week. Try to keep my fiber going. Keep my water intake going.

Starting MFP weight: 240 (summer 2013)
    Goal weight: 150-145

    Starting challenge weight: 187
    Week 1: 186.4 (-.06)
    Week 2: 187.4 (+1)
    Week 3: 186.2 (-1.2)
    Week 4: 186.4 (+0.2)
    Week 5:184.2 (-2.2)
    Week 6: 185.2 (+1)
    Week 7: 186.8 (+1.6)

    Total 2018 loss: .02/52

This week’s successes: continued to track all, drank a gallon of water a day, and exercised 5 days. Down 9 pounds since last doc appointment 6 months ago. Excellent BP and blood work!

    Next week’s challenges:
*Not giving into a defeatist attitude/pity party which is what I want to do at this very moment. I considered not posting today and quitting the challenge. (since I am posting, I guess that counts as a success)

*Figuring out what I should change as I am moving in the wrong direction. No real progress this year.

*My continued belief that I WILL get to my goal weight.

    2017 Challenge lost 30 pounds!

    2018 Challenge:
    Start date: 1/1/2018
    Start weight: 131.0
    Goal weight: 120
    Current weight: 131.6
    This weeks loss: -.6
    Total loss this year: +.6

Getting back on track with vacation gain slowly coming back off. Nothing big planned for a few weeks so I can get back into a normal routine. Pool is open again, just waiting for the water temp to warm a little more.

Challenge this week was that open bag of snack mix that wanted my attention. After giving in with controlled portions a couple of days, I pitched the rest out for the birds. Problem solved.

Love reading everyone's logs. Knowing we are all working towards the same goal is encouraging.

Be careful with SF candy, it can have a disastrous effect if you’re not near a toilet! LoL Speaking from personal experience.
