1200 miles for 2018

I’m ready to get this year started with goals I can achieve. Who wants to join me in completing 1200 miles in a year? The rules on the miles must be completed with only the intentional exercising in mind. ( the walking the office and house don’t count)
You can record your miles on here weekly or monthly. Let’s get physical for 2018!

    I'm in!
    12/31/17: (to build a habit)
    7.7 mile walk. Intended to do 5, miscalculated the distance lol but the sun was shining in the Pacific Northwest -> I had to be outside!

    I am on my elliptical.. going for 2 miles this morning... and aiming to add an additional 4 miles before the day is over!! Happy New Year!!

    Oooooh... my goal in 2017 was 1000 miles, and I did 1,323.7 so i am definitely up for beating last year's number.

    Last year I ran 1,149 miles and my goal for 2018 happens to be 1,200 miles. So yeah, I'd love to join you.

    haha I am loopy... I was on my treadmill this morning, not the elliptical.
    back on the treadmill tonight, hoping to get in the additional 4 miles!!

    I am a massage therapy student, in 2 days I will have completed all the licensure requirements!
    I often wonder how many calories I burn giving a massage. It feels like doing a hot yoga workout.

    Today: 11.5 miles & 70 floors (stairmaster)
    Cardio machines: non impact running machine, stationary bike intervals & treadmill uphill walk (15% incline) + .25 mile run + walking cool down

    I broke it all down, as I do with my compulsive behavior and in order to get 1200 miles in for the year I have to do 100 per month, 23 per week for months with 31 days, but I just went with that for every week in the year......... so each week even when I am ahead I will still aim to get the base of 23 miles in for all the weeks. this week I am way out of the ballpark thanks to the 2 bike rides I had and my obsession with this new challenge, but it all starts fresh tomorrow for week 2. I hope that along with eating less sugar I will see the changes I want.
