    What a day.
It's 8.30 pm and we've not had dinner yet.
Around 2 hours ago I was sat with my OH and I said "ill go start dinner in 5 mins"
Then I heard Saskia shouting "MUMMY Marleys been sick!!!"
So I run downstairs. There's sick all over the sofa (thankfully the leather one!) and Marley had gone to stand in the middle of the room. Then she projectiled everywhere. All over Saskias feet (LOL).
So 2 rolls of kitchen roll later, showers for both girls, story and bed for marley. My partner scrubbed the sofa and mopped the floor. Then Casey decided she was hungry. Had to feed her and put Saskias dinner on and cooking our dinner now.
She's just having dessert then it's bed for her too.

    God let this day end.
Early night for me I think!

Oh my goodness what an event for you. I hope Marley gets to feeling better and you as well bless your heart. You definitely need some down time/relaxation. (((HUG)))💖

Oh My Goodness. This is a happening place. I'm going to attempt to speak to all of my Sister's hearts. But before I do, I'm totally digging the animal pictures..they know how to work the camera...lol.

IF I COULD SING YOU A LULLABY

IF I COULD SING YOU A LULLABY, IT would be one with words that not even
the angels have heard because it came straight from the heart of God to me...
And the words would have such power that it would resound for hours , unraveling every mystery.
IF I COULD SING YOU A LULLABY.. NOTHING could make you cry, and nothing
would be able to stand, NO SICKNESS, NO DISEASE, NO TROUBLE, NO STRUGGLE, NO EVIL would be able to exist in its glory. A LULLABY so pure and true, it would make everything new, and change everyone's story.
IF I COULD SING YOU A LULLABY, and sing it on this very night to put you fast asleep... And while you slept in its sweetness you:d be kept, in ALL that GOD'S GOOD would bring
Mercy and meekness would cover you in completeness, and you'd awaken in the morning in PEACE🙏

Wow --- I miss a couple days, and SO far behind reading everyone's posts!!! Love it!!

We had a wonderful time with our grandsons .... but we also saw all the drama with 3 little boys! It was almost funny ..... we stayed at a trampoline adventure place I think 10 minutes too long LOL!! The boys had a blast, but they had all been up since 5am (had to catch their plane, so they were all up early). So they were SO tired, but they loved the trampoline park. I think we were there almost 4 hrs ... until 1 brother pushed the other one, the other brother got something in his eye, and the other got upset because he said one brother scratched his eye. So on the way home they were all complaining. The little 8 yr old pretends that he hurt his head and has ammesia ... says he can't remember anything. He said he could not remember the plane ride, could not remember where he was, etc etc. He almost fooled me .... I kept whispering to my husband maybe we should take him to the ER to be sure when he fell he did not have a concussion or something. Hubby did not believe him .... but boy, was that little guy convincing!
My ex daughter-in-law was always worried so much about everything, so hubby says these little boys learned how to really fake stuff to get attention. Once we knew it was faking ... well, then the tears started, because the older grandsons were teasing him!! Anyhow,it was good practice in patience for me ! But we did have a wonderful time .... we wore the boys out so they all slept through the nite ... we had a wonderful talk with our son.... and I ate way too much food!!!

So tomorrow will be my weigh in --- no matter what!! I know I will be up, but I said I was going to weigh in every week no matter what ... and be held accountable.! And, if it is up, that means work harder this week!

@ cschmitz110515 and @PackerFanInGB -- I LOVE the doggie pictures!! And @ toaljasa -- the cat is adorable!!

@Bex953172 -- I love little Casey with the food all over her face! Brings back memories! And so sorry to hear about the sickness in your house -- hopefully tomorrow morning everyone will start to feel better (and you get some sleep tonite!)

There are so many to respond to, but know I am thinking of you all ,and hope you all have a wonderful evening.

    GOals for tomorrow!
    1. weigh in day --- yes, log, no matter what
    2. log all food
    3. concentrate on water. One diet pepsi, then NO more soda until I drink 8+ cups of water
    4. october challenge - 1 mile walk
    5. go to the gym
    6. start sewing on quilt for my cousin who has stage 3 cancer
    7. finish up 4 more chemo hats

Oh ... and if you could all please remember my brother in your prayers. I only have one remaining brother, and I called him friday for his biday. He thinks he has lung cancer. He is a smoker, and said they say stuff on his lungs. So on Oct 26 he is meeting with a specialist. I don't know how to feel ... I am hoping it is nothing, but with all the cancer in my family, and with all the health problems my brother has already, it is sad. He is my only remaining sibling, out of a family of 5 other siblings.

Got out for a long bike ride yesterday which was great! Especially because it snowed today. boooo. Anyway, I'm looking towards setting long/medium/short goals for myself right now. I want to look at the end of the year and next year for the major goals I'd like to accomplish. Right now I feel I'm free-floating and I think I need more structure week to week around what I'm focusing on. That's all about me for now!

@HEGoddard0928 That sounds like so much to deal with. I'm sorry you're going through it all. Take it day by day, and I know it'll get easier. Depression is no joke, it can take over and make everything seem so hard. Thinking of you.
@PackerFanInGB Such a beauty :) Thanks for sharing!
@Bex953172 What a day! Hope tomorrow is kinder.*hugs*
@maryrobinson40 Thank you for your endless compassion and joy. You make every day brighter for those around you!
@mytime6630 Thinking of your brother. It's hard when you don't know for sure. Hoping you hear better news.

    For today:
Drink 80 oz. of water ✅
2 goals: be in the "normal" range for BMI, finish all reports at work
Healthy eating, 1.2k to 1.4k calories :( went out to brunch
All 5 food groups :( didn't do too bad, but not quite
Exercise 30 minutes or do 1 mile :( got some walking in
1 hour TV max, not while eating ✅
    Track food and exercise ✅
    8 hours sleep ✅

    For tomorrow:
    Drink 80 oz. of water
Healthy eating, 1.2k to 1.4k calories
    All 5 food groups
    Exercise 30 minutes
1 hour TV max, not while eating
    Track food and exercise
    8 hours sleep

Oh dear not the most successful day for me yesterday. Just felt tired and unmotivated all day. But I guess it’s not surprising given the last few weeks. Today is a new day and new week though. Going to get back on the horse!

@mytime6630 - so glad you had fun with the grandsons. I will keep your brother in my thoughts. So sorry you are going through this x
@Bex953172 - another sickness! Poor you I know it’s exhausting. Take care of yourself so you can take care of everyone else
@maryrobinson40 - thank you for thinking of us all
@PackerFanInGB - loving the Maddie updates and how positive you sound. Hope you are still healing well
@everyone! Have a great start to the week.

    Sunday goals
    - workout? It’s forecast to rain all day so would like to get a bit of activity done if I can ❎ I think this was more due to laziness than my illness to be honest, still feel wiped out
    - Cooking with the kids ❎ came up with a cool additional idea for my class assembly that required some arts and crafts for a prop so we did that together instead!
    - Post/paperwork and emails ❎ oops
    - Finalise script ✅
    - Early night✅

    Monday goals
    - morning workout
    - Leave early for work
    - Print revised script
    - Fix PowerPoint and video
    - Reply to Head, appraisal after half term
    - Rearrange IM meeting
    - Call mum at lunchtime

Back from Cyprus - had a good time, really liked having a bit of winter sun!

Now back to rain and cold and dark. Not too sad about it though - lots of nice autumnal/wintery things to look forward to like Bonfire Night. Spent yesterday planning and booking a few things to look forward to over the next few months.

There were a lot of posts, which I have actually skim read (plane back was delayed) but not in detail. Below are a few messages - sorry for anyone I have missed:

@Faebert Glad to hear your sister is now home but really sorry about the bronchitis - everything happens all at once doesn't it?! Seems like you are mostly better now - hopefully things will be a little easier for a while!

@HEGoddard0928 I am sorry you have been down and having suicidal thoughts. Hopefully opening up to Matt will have helped but I would encourage you to talk to someone else as well. The church counseling sounds like it could help. In the UK we have a phone line called the Samaritans which people can call if they are distressed - is there anything like that in the US? Do also get on here and talk to us if you need to. We're not trained but we care about you

@Snowflake9046 Sorry to hear about your job, that sounds like a really difficult situation. I agree with others that looking for a new job is a good idea. Your boss clearly doesn't appreciate your awesomeness, it's time that someone else benefited from it

@mytime6630 Sorry to hear about your brother - I am crossing all my fingers and toes that it is not anything too serious. I will also say a prayer for you and your brother X

@Bex953172 I hope today is better and sick free  Also, don't be too hard on yourself about goals etc. You have a lot going on. I agree with what others have said about focusing on one small thing and making it a habit. It's hard to change too many things at once!

@everyoneelse Hope you are all doing well and wishing you a good week!

    I'll join the weigh-in group!

    Goal weight: 154
    October 15th: 164.25

Great idea @mytime6630 - this accountability is just what I need. I looked at the Progress chart for the last 6 months and I have basically not lost anything. Time to step it up to lose the rest!

    7. Put jewelry away. Yikes! Reinforce patches on old pants.
    8. Go to Mac store and see if they can retrieve the files off the iMac.
    9. Make plan for classroom observations; ask other teachers about projects or lessons they feel confident about.
    10. Create vocabulary lists for each unit that come from the texts used. Find a way to incorporate changing words from one part of speech to another.
    11. Design minibuttons with school logo, mascot, crest. Minibuttons that say THIS IS WHAT ANTIFASCISM LOOKS LIKE. White text on black bars on red background.
You are getting things done your list is smaller. I see you must have returned the mascara :)

Alas, no, not in that case, hahaha! I lost the receipt, so I gave up on that. :P I had it IN THE CAR, both the mascara and the receipt, and somehow the receipt went missing. Ah well. It's only like $3-5 so it's not a big deal, but I'd hoped I could exchange it for the kind I wanted.

I did go to the used bookstore this weekend (#6 on the ongoing list) but they didn't have any of those particular books, so that stays on the list to remind me to look for them next time I get to go. I *did* get rid of a WHOLE bunch of grocery bags though! I appreciate that I can donate them there to be re-used rather than throwing them out.

And I got the narratives graded! WHEW!

Need to recap weekend for my own accountability...

Recap F 10/12 ~ October birthdays recognized & celebrated (with food, of course) in office today & drinks/dinner in evening with BFF to celebrate my birthday week. Already ate 1 breakfast sammie at work ~ really felt like I needed the protein, which I have been low on this week for some reason. :#
    1) Walked dog before work / 3.56 mi 1:03:23 / stretched = happy dog  & happy me
    2) Move hourly / stairs breaks at work = 15,289 steps, 250+ steps 12/14 & 39 floors
    3) Breakfast & lunch prelogged / logged office food already consumed as snack & NO cake this afternoon (since it's not chocolate, not so tempting for me) / have previewed dinner menu online & prelogged my choice / stick w/ plan / net calories < 100 red / 12c water = Stuck w/ plan except swapped my side for dinner & one extra adult beverage at BFF's house. :# Net calories -212, sodium red, protein low, 7c water :s
    4) Keep plugging away at work ~ do not take latest issue personally b/c it's just the process here = Workin' on it :|
    5) After work: feed pets & let dog out  / pick up race packet for Sat. a.m. & prepped clothes / enjoy evening w/ BFF  / Go Brewers! Game 1 win

    Recap Sat. 10/13
    1) Run for the Hill of It 5K in 48:13 pace 15:32 & hill 2:01 ~ beat both time (part unpaved trail with sloppy conditions due to 5" rain over 3 days prior) & hill (finish is UP a steep sledding hill) from last year :star:
    2) With hubby got much of fall yard work done since weather permitted including cleaned out shed (& dead mouse & spotting another mouse or 2 escaping ~ eek!!! I hate mice) and stored patio stuff for winter, drained rain barrels, hung/filled winter birdfeeders, hubby mowed & I helped him trim dead arborvitaes, hauled yard debris to curb

Weekly Weigh-In = When I'm active I eat back calories. My weaknesses: I love food... my sweet tooth, especially chocolate... portion control... FOMO (Fear of Missing Out). I no longer weigh myself daily but I peek occasionally. Saturday a.m. weigh-in is my MFP logging day. My digital scale only shows half pound increments & I'm too cheap to buy a fancier scale. No goal dates set ~ as long as my trend is downward, I get there when I get there!

    Age 61, 5'4.5"
    GW #1: 150 in a livable way = It's. Not. A. Diet.
    GW #2: 145 normal BMI
UG maintain: 140 - 145 [Need to be realistic! Will revisit UG & may revise to maintain 145 - 150]

11/5/15 = 195.0 joined MFP with no real plan except It's. Not. A. Diet.
