@OConnell5483 Thank you so much! I think I post too much. Lol. I dont know but I just love telling people about my day and sharing my enthusiasm with there people here!
Now to follow on with that comment...
Boy, what a day! I went over to spend time with my Godmommy this morning for coffee and to help her clean and organize her new apartment. They moved back to New Jersey 2 weeks ago after 20 years in Maryland. We are beyond thrilled that they are here. At least I know I am! But their apartment needed a lot of work that they are just getting done now because they didn't have a lot of time to find the place. I think they had a week between finding it and moving in. They had a different apartment about an hour away set up but it fell through at the last minute. This one is about ten minutes away from us. But anyway, Lol, I ended up spending 8 hours there! I had only put 4 on my to-do list and I thought that was pushing it. But we got a lot done! Apparently, I should be a decorator because I have a good eye for style and the way things should be set up. Lol. But it was so good to see her. It had been way too long! I know we will see each other so much more now and that makes me incredibly happy. Lol.
So I burned an insane amount of calories and am putting my nap and the gym on hold until tomorrow. And I had o change my dinner plans because I was going to use my crockpot and just didn't have time after I got home. I'm going to make something quick and easy tonight and spend the rest of the night on the couch! Lol5 -

I haven't been posting goals much this week because #1, I don't get up early enough in the morning to do it before work, #2 I've been really busy at work and don't get to it and #3, I've been a little down in the dumps and anxious about next week's MRI. But MAN do I miss it when I don't post! I have been logging on every night to keep up with y'all (except last night because of a Netflix marathon of Stranger Things 2). Know that I think of you every day and am cheering you on from the sidelines!
I started today slow. I didn't wake up until 10:00 a.m. I don't know what the heck is going on that I'm having so much difficulty getting up in the mornings. I don't like sleeping that late because I feel like I miss so much of my day. But today, I sipped my coffee and watched the news and a few fishing shows just because I felt like relaxing. I know, fishing shows sound extremely boring, but I am originally from Minnesota, the "land of 10,000 lakes" and I LOVE to fish. It's where I find my serenity. Anyhow....
Just for Saturday:
So far today, I have cleaned the kitchen including scrubbing hard-to-reach places, decluttered my closet and moved stuff to the new dresser in the spare room, decluttered the shelf of the spare room's closet, swept and got the dust bunnies out from under furniture in the rooms with the hardwood floors, read 4 pages of JFT (very important!) to get caught up on your days!
For the rest of today, I will:- Drink more water..only have about 32 oz in so far. I'm going to try Joan's red cup trick!
- Pick up the basement.
- Begin looking at options for rearranging the basement. Right now there is furniture from our old house that we don't have room for upstairs of this house. No rhyme or reason to how stuff is arranged, so it's really wasted useable space that could be whole other level to our house...like a sewing and exercise area, or a den.
- Meal plan for next week and make grocery list.
- Try to sew if my arm isn't bothering me. (Been watching all these quilting videos and just want to get busy.)
- Try to make good choices of food tonight and stop emotional eating!
- Relax and watch Netflix later after dinner. Maybe we'll finish Ozark since we're done with the Stranger Things series now.
- Bed early enough to read a book for a bit.
- Meditate, listen to podcasts or take a bubble bath....something to relax my anxious mind.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Saturday. Wish I would have gotten on here earlier!4 -

BWAHAHAHAHA! This made me chuckle out loud!2 -
Love this!! Just for today I promise myself I will start to log all my food again (helped me so much in the past). Will start stretching at least a couple times a week. (this was my NYE goal for 2 years now)5

Yesterday was a rough day, work wise, which translated into stress eating. I was so tired after getting home from work late that I just went to bed.
2/2 JFT
Weekly weigh in
Walk when possible during breaks did it when I could.
Log I logged, but not a good calorie day. See below.
Do not eat the donuts at work tomorrow. But it tasted really good.
Declutter one thing tomorrow after work.
I didn’t get to set goals for today. My daughter woke up sick with a fever. I put in a couple hours of work tonight, and will need to tomorrow as well. But on the bright side I did something fun and new - I took a curling lesson. Cold but so much fun.
2/4 JFT
I think I’m coming down with what my daughter has, but if I feel better, work out.
Log
Do work
Make chili for lunches this week
Bake muffins for kids
Clean one room
Fast til noon.5 -

*Yesterday* - achieved it!! scales were friendly ... now, don't don't get complacent!
February 4th - JFT
1) no chocolate/sugar/alcohol tonight
2) cook all meals at home & log everything

1. Up by 7 6:30 but I slept until my alarm this morning!
2. MFP/Quiet time/Journaling Just coffee and MFP. Was too excited to really do anything. Lol
3. Visit with Godmommy @ 8 Had an awesome time as my previous post said. Lol. 8 hours, though, is a long time to be cleaning. Lol
4. Run to store By the time I left Godmom's house I was so tired that I plum forgot
5. Prep dinner/lunch Didnt leave Godmom's house until quarter to 4. This was supposed to be done around noon so I could put it in the crockpot for dinner at 6
6. Have DH put together bookshelf He did while I was not home
7. Put books on shelf I came home to the books that were piled on the dresser, lining my shelves by my wonderful DH
8. Gym(still not sure about this. Might take a rest day) Cleaned for 8 hours. I think that was a work out enough. I burned way more calories doing that then I would have going to the gym anyway
9. Nap(also a maybe) Probably could have gotten a short one in but I hadn't seen the DH all day and I got home at 4 so I got a cup of coffee on the way home and stayed up
10. Dinner/Dishes Had to change up the dinner plans because I didn't get to make the meatballs. We had One-Pot Caprese Pasta instead. It's one of my favorite non-meat meals.
11. Quality time with DH Kinda. We watched the first half of our hockey game but the DH got so incensed with the refereeing that he turned it off after the first intermission. We ended up getting into an argument because I asked a question that I probably should have known the answer to and he got really frustrated when I wasn't understanding. This has been happening a lot lately. I think it's a result of going off the meds. We are hoping that it clears up when they are fully in my system again.
12. Read Maybe, maybe not. I'm pretty pooped but I might get a chapter or two in. They're really short.
13. Bed by 11 pm Well, it's 10:35 now. So if I finish my list and get right into bed I can probably get some reading time in and still shut off the light by 11 pm.
Had an awesome day, not so awesome of a night. Arguments and our team lost because of cruddy refereeing. But the DH and I are fine now. I just have to keep dumb questions to myself. I just dont often think they are dumb or it's a question that had been answered by someone talking 2 minutes before. There is something wrong with my cognition I think. We're hoping getting the meds fully back in my system will help. So about a month and I should be back to normal. I know that it is really bothering the DH. We've had quite a few arguments over the last few weeks and we are not a couple that fights...like at all. I just want to be my normal self again. I am really liking this new amount of energy I have. It's helping me to set some new habits for myself. They say it takes 4 weeks to create a habit and I'm going on 2 so far.
So, on to JFT 2/3/18,
1. Up by 7:30(probably earlier)
2. Coffee/MFP/Breakfast
3. Church
4. Gym
5. Lunch
6. Run to the store(but probably after the game starts)
7. Send out resume to 3 companies
8. Look at story
9. Clean microwave and behind it
10. Move boxes
11. Clean kitchenette
12. Organize Tupperware on shelf
13. Go through leftovers in fridge(freeze vs. trash)
14. Dinner/Dishes
15. Hockey/Quality time with the DH
16. Read
17. Bed by 11
Sheesh! This one is really long. Although several of these things I can probably get done relatively quickly. Lol. I can probably get the kitchen stuff done in an hour because the DH is working kinda late so I'll have all afternoon to myself. Lol.
I hope everyone has a great night and I'll see you in the morning!

A little bit of fighting isn’t bad! It’s just how you deal with it and work through it.
Mental health can have a bigger impact than you think. My depression has strained the family for four years! And I’ve not even seen it, to me it became the norm, that’s how our family was, and now I’m coming out of it finally I can see the true impact it has had and our relationships between eachother are really growing and improving now.
But we are strong as a family because even though I put everyone through *kitten* l, everyone stuck by me! We made a way through even if it meant a few arguments along the way! Well, a lot of arguments lol!4 -
Met goals yesterday. I couldn't really count my dinner but it was just two vegetable tacos.
JFT:
1. Log everything. Stay in the green.
2. Maybe go to the gym - I might take rest day, not sure yet.
3. Make online grocery list for hubby to do curbside pick up (love curbside pickup)
4. Pay bills (yay)
5. Finish laundry
6. Maybe try to do a painting (snowy outside so it's a good day for that)
7. Maybe maybe maybe do taxes (double ugh)
Happy Sunday!5 -

But we are strong as a family because even though I put everyone through *kitten* l, everyone stuck by me! We made a way through even if it meant a few arguments along the way! Well, a lot of arguments lol!
I went undiagnosed from age 14 to 19 and scared the *kitten* out of my parents. It was really bad. I got into some pretty gnarly things when I was 17-21. And I didn't realize how bad it truly had gotten until I finally started taking my meds constantly and finally knew what it felt like to be stable.
Now the DH has some of his own mental health issues that we are FINALLY starting to work through after 5 years. He has anxiety issues and sometimes depression. He sometimes has an anger problem(like last night during the game) but since he started therapy in November it has gotten significantly better. Plus he's made some friends at work so that he doesn't come home yelling and screaming and slamming doors and threatening to quit every day. So that has helped as well.
But the fighting as only started recently, just in the last month or so and I can see that it is wearing on my husband. I think it is more out of fear and nervousness for me and real anger. But I see my doctor in a week and a half and I will bring it up to him.
My parents and I had a strange dynamic for many years but ever since I met my DH and we had a few good heart to hearts everything is completely different. I have an amazing relationship with them now. It took many years but I never thought it would become like this and it is amazing. Lol
Anyway, sorry for the long winded message about my mental health! Lol6 -
Hey thanks for the warm welcome bcTRAI
I've reached most of my goals for today, so I guess it's time to pick some for tomorrow YAY
record food on MFP keep under kj limit (watch out for fat and sugar limit)
eat only when hungry - eat only what I want
eat chia first at breakfast
exercise for 1hr on the exercise bike - enjoy a cup of coffee as a reward
avoid sugar, and dairy.
Try to Remember:
My goal for 1st week of February 2019 is to go swimming! (I haven't been swimming in a decade or so)

This baby is killing me today!
I swear she’s eating everything.
I had breaKfast at 11am, ate a full bowl of noodles just 1.5 hours ago and I am STARVING. But I don’t even get the feeling of “oooh I feel a bit peckish I will make some food in half an hour” it’s literally being completely fine one minute to being starving the next! As if I haven’t ate for days or something! Can’t keep up lol
Like trying to feed a bottomless pit!
But when I start eating I instantly feel put off my food but I just get as much down as I can lol!
I’m wondering if it’s a side effect of the antibiotics actually
It’s certainly not helping my mood. My whole right side is sore, it feels bruised, even my face?
But I sleep on my right side and it must just be all the extra weight and stuff.
And the dog is winding me right up and I think that’s more hormones so I’ve just escaped everyone and got in the bath. Lol
Just going to get through today, that’s my goal.
Make it through today.
OH is cleaning the oven I hate cleaning the oven! Feel bad for not helping but I think he’d prefer I didn’t with the mood I’m in haha5 -
1) Clean out my closet - donate or trash what doesn’t bring me joy.
2) Iron and press so that what is hanging is ready to wear.
3) Put away all clean laundry.
4) Plan what I will wear to work for the upcoming week so that it is not a depressing scramble each morning to find a decent professional outfit.
5) Take a moment to express gratitude for having time today to take care of me, for having a weeks worth of work clothes ready to go.
7 -
JFY (Saturday, 2/3/18)
1. Drink 8 glasses of water
2. Log all my food
3. Be "in the green" with my calories for the day (not far off, but I did go over)
4. Start working on 2 orders for my shop
JFT (Sunday, 2/4/18)
1. Drink 8 glasses of water
2. Log all my food
3. Be "in the green" with my calories for the day
4. Start/Do our taxes
5. Groceries
6. Laundry5 -
Not the best day yesterday, food wise. Trying to fight off being sick, so I did not get to the gym, and indulged in ice cream and stuff I should not be eating.
On the plus side, I was able to sew up 10 chemo hats! Hoping to get more cut out today and sewn, so I can get them to the cancer center (and then go back to sewing on my quilt!)
JFT, SUnday
1. remember to drink water. Remember to look at that red cup. I am not hungry .... I am just thirsty! I think this is a huge part of my problem
2. rest today to keep from getting this awful flu that everyone seems to have
3. log my food. I have a roasting chicken to put in the oven ... so eat wisely today
4. get back on here .... be accountable. So try and make it a good day!
TO all you football fans.... enjoy the game. Me .... I'm going to be sewing6 -

I absolutely LOVE this list of goals. I cannot tell you how many times I have told myself I should do #1-4 but then don't. It always makes my mornings hectic and crabby when I have to dig for something to wear and then take time to iron it! This is a great list, and I hope you don't mind, but I'm adding this to mine!4 -

I feel so rotten today.
I knew I felt off about something
It’s my antibiotics. They’re making me be sick now and I’m only on day 2 out of a 5 day course.. But my partner says that’s them working to get the bug out my system seeing as it is one of the side effects. Hes been amazing today, he’s steam cleaned the whole house, oven, defrosted the freezer! Hoovered and steamed every room and even did tea for the girls. I’ve not lifted a finger today!
I just hate he fact Im now actively taking a tablet that I know will make me vom. But after this, that should be it and I should be well again
This has been the hardest pregnancy ever. Feeing pretty low today7 -
Just for Sunday:
1. Increase water intake...red cup method again, and add some decaf tea
2. No ice cream today
3. Listen to Podcasts and meditate, reflect = "me" time
4. Prep lunch and coffee pot for tomorrow morning
5. Prep for the week (Thanks @Teresastandard !)
*Iron and press so that what is hanging is ready to wear.
*Put away all clean laundry.
*Plan what I will wear to work for the upcoming week and hang the outfits in spare room so they are there
paired up, ready to grab and wear.
6. Update bullet journal for the week
7. 30 minutes of cardio
8. Be grateful for another day!
9. Bed by 10:00 and no hitting Snooze tomorrow!3 -
@Bex953172 I'm so sorry you're feeling so crappy. I know for me, feeling nauseous is one of my least favorite feelings! I hate it even above physical pain. I hope that the tabs really do kill the thing in your stomach and that the five days arent in vain! Just think that you are almost at the finish line! Just a few more weeks and your little girl will be here and it'll all be worth it! I'm so glad your OH has been so awesome today. Mine was too. He's working right now, but he made the bed and took out the trash, which for him is a HUGE deal. Lol. I hope you feel better soon!2
-
So I really do think I need to stop taking naps. Lol. I know I've said this before. But I woke up totally grumpy after today's. I had to run to the store right after I woke up and people were driving like idiots. I had a total road rage moment the whole way there and back and it was like 3 miles round trip. I was cursing and just being a total jerk in my car. I dont know why. I'm usually not like that at all. I mean I have as much road rage as the average person normally. I am from New Jersey though and we are notorious for our high level of road rage. Lol. But I think I'm starting to see a trend that if I drive somewhere right after I wake up, I am more like to be mean to them. At least in my own head. Lol. Just a random observation I made about myself. I dont know if this will stop me from taking naps or just stop me from going out though. Lol1

@OConnell5483 I bought this really awesome day planner from Amazon that I heard about in a Youtube video and I think it has been the secret to my success. I use it every day. It's super detailed and easy to use. It gives you a general to do list area and then breaks it down into hours from 4 am to 9 am. It has been super helpful! I usually get done with things way before its been scheduled so I usually end up with like two hours with nothing to do, which is usually when I haunt MFP or just kind of sit around twiddling my thumbs! It's especially worse when the DH is at work because then I get REALLY bored. Lol. If anyone wants more info about it let me know! Lol1
-
@HGSmith0920 That's awesome! Is it a type of bullet journal or what is the name of it? I find that if I keep track of a task list and mark things off, I'm more likely to do what I need to. I'm a total list person! My problem was that I had different lists going in different notebooks...some at home, some at work, some in my purse, some online, some on my phone, some in my car....well, you get the idea. It drove me nuts because it was so disorganized. This one notebook I'm using now really helps! I haven't been actually scheduling times though, which is a great idea. I should pick a time for exercise and then just do it...stuff like that.2

JFT SUNDAY RECORD
1. stick to calorie goal
2. Go to gym
I did go to the gym for about 20mins then got bored and went for a lovely swim instead. I tried but don’t think the gym is for me- will focus on yoga, swimming, personal training sessions and metafit class instead! Think that’s enough!
JFT MONDAY GOALS
1. stick to calorie goal
2. Go to yoga class
3. Go to personal training session3 -
I'm about to blow up this board with a few pictures, so bear with me. Lol. @OConnell5483 Here a few pictures of the basic pages look like. The first like 15 pages all talk about your long and short-term goals and things. I really love it! It's all really streamlined so it's really easy to follow too. There are a few different designs as well. It's a tad bit pricey but for what you get and how much it has helped me it was so worth it! I got it from Amazon.

Back to Monday routine so want to have a good week of hitting work targets before we break for a week of half term.
Goals for 5/2

- water 2ltr +
- stay within calorie goal

1. Up by 7:30(probably earlier) Yes but at 8 laid back down until 8:30
2. Coffee/MFP/Breakfast Yes but no breakfast. I had two cups of coffee and that held me over until lunch at 12:30. I know this not a good habit but I've had it for many years so it's going to take a while to break.
3. Church It was a great service too. Only Mom and I went from our family but it was awesome bonding time.
4. Gym Right after church since the church and the gym share the same warehouse building. It's split into 3 sections.
5. Lunch I had leftovers because I'm trying to clean out my refrigerator
6. Run to the store(but probably after the game starts) Did this. But I went around 2 and it was actually dead.
And it was a liquor store I went to as well. Definitely not what I expected. Lol
7. Send out resume to 3 companies This took about an hour and a half because I was thinking of all the banks in my general area and going through their career job listings. It was really really annoying. And I realized after the first two resumes were submitted that there was an error on it. I was beyond frustrated!
8. Look at story I feel like this is never going to get done. It's not even a big thing really but I want to get back to writing and I cant do that if I dont actually work on it.
9. Clean microwave and behind it Did this. It was pretty gross. Lol. But I finally switched it out for the new one the DH got me for Christmas
10. Move boxes It started to rain and the 50 inch TV box that my DH INSISTS on keeping wouldn't fit in my car or the attic opening. When I moved it last time I had it sticking out the back of my trunk but seeing as it was raining I didn't want to ruin it. Yes, I know I could break it down but the DH won't let me!
11. Clean kitchenette Kind of half a**ed but I did manage to find places for all of the dishes and have a clean sink and an empty dishrack!
12. Organize Tupperware on shelf Did this. It opened up so much room!
13. Go through leftovers in fridge(freeze vs. trash) See below
14. Dinner/Dishes Done and done
15. Hockey/Quality time with the DH I didn't think the DH would actually want to watch the Super Bowl since he hates both teams, but I forgot that he works in the sporting goods industry so he's kind of obligated to. It was a good game that even I kind of got into. Lol. I was folding laundry as well
16. Read I did this while walking on the treadmill. It's amazing how fast 30 minutes flies by when your brain is engaged in something else!
17. Bed by 11 Considering it's almost 12:30 now. This didn't happen.
So I got a lot done but a much-needed nap and more time job hunting than I wanted to spend stopped me from finishing everything. Yesterday my Godmom showed me a new folding technique for clothing that takes up significantly less space. I wanted to try it on my drawers and proceeded to hyper-focus for about 3 hours doing that while the game was on and for about an hour after. Lol. But I got all the clothes folded in 2 dressers. It's amazing how much space we have left over! I have half of one more dresser to do tomorrow. And the DH had a really smart idea after dinner tonight. I was moaning and groaning about all the leftovers we had in the fridge(taco chicken, bourbon chicken, salsa chicken...seeing a pattern here?) because I tend to make things in bulk and now that I am actually watching my portions I dont over eat too much anymore so there's always large amounts of leftovers. I make my DH a wrap/sandwich every day for him to take to work with him as part of his lunch. Well, he had the idea of me using all of that chicken to premake a bunch of them so all I have to do is stick one of the containers the wrap is in into his lunch box. It would significantly cut down the time in the morning. Well, I went a little overboard and made something like 10 wraps/sandwiches. Some absurd number like that. I know that there is a chance they will get soggy but it's one I'm willing to take. The DH pretty much eats anything anyway. Lol. And there are a lot of times he gets hungry while he's staying up late playing video games so it's something easy he can grab. And it got rid of two and a half containers of leftovers! That was probably the best part! I mean, I know I'm just going to fill it back up, but after I clean out the freezer tomorrow I'll have room to be able to freeze things as well. Lol. Anyway! Lol. Onward!
