I've also been told that this is a "guy thing", thoughts?
Uncandidly... The hospitals are just full of people that have nothing wrong with them and are just dying to be told they have a problem so they can get time off work and an excuse to do nothing...
Just being there with something I'm capable of dealing with myself, I can't help but feel like I'm just contributing to the hysteria caused by the medical industry...
And I know what there going to tell me, just rest it...1 -

Agreed, well put. I took me screening in agony and vomiting to go to the hospital because I had a kidney stone lol
I understand there are many who have legitimate issues but these pharmaceutical adds really are just trying to sell drugs...
I would recommend How Not to Die to everyone, it's a mind blowing book...
In it, Michael Greger sites a number of studies that were done showing that 98% of specifically antidepressants prescribed in the US are no more effective than a placebo...
The numbers for people claiming a gluten intolerance are just as bad...
We are a poisoned population made to feel sick, the food and pharmaceutical industries are a lot more insidious than people give them credit for

Not to mention their mark-up on product cost to consumers is like 120%
depends, are you counting the millions of dollars of research behind the pill, or just the cost to make it?1 -
One time, at a fancy restaurant, the server told me that the ice cream had caraway in it. I'd never heard of it and I assumed she meant cassowary. I was disappointed with dessert.0

Well stated! It’s disgusting how many fraudulent compensation cases there are. This is a tough conversation to have because idealistically I believe in a universal system but the reality is that it’s simply not that simple.
Yeah I got a little carried away there
There's just something fundamentally wrong with the for profit system, but I get it... You get what you pay for
