    1) You are not your mother. Take care of yourself like she never did, or you too may wind up sinking early. In fact, just take care of yourself, because it all comes down to you. Nobody can do it for you, so stop making excuses!

    2) Stop using the fork as a weapon against yourself! The same could be said for the bottle. False senses of comfort only cause more discomfort.

    3) Start running! Not only will it help physically, but emotionally... you'll need it to survive. The pain is only temporary and worth every minute. Learn to breathe in rhythm, get better shoes, start stretching, and stop heel striking. Now keep going! You can do 26.2!

    4) Getting married is not the answer. It doesn't prove anything or prevent problems.

    5) Do get a dog... a big dog, and bury your face in said dog's neck fur. You can replace your tears with slobber! :)
