I want to say that last round was really hard, but I’m not sure that would be completely honest. I’m rarely hungry. I’ve cut down significantly on mindless snacking. On normal days I’m generally sticking pretty close to my calorie goals, and on “special” days I’m doing TONS better than I have in the past. I’m lifting weights 3x/wk. More importantly, I’m playing basketball 2-3x/wk when it’s available, I’m noticing a difference in my energy level there, and I’ve been able to do a couple of “basketball-related items” that I have not been able to do in years. I’m also learning lessons as I go in these challenges – be a SALT HAWK, don’t assume anything regarding nutritional value (even if a place seems “healthy”), and continue to recognize/avoid issues that have derailed me in the past (too many too count, but I’ll continue to discuss them on a daily basis). My weight did not go down this round, but looking objectively at things, I definitely had some success. I’m going to continue to plug away. I love doing this every day and knowing that I am really trying to be accountable in every way I know. Average weight for last round went down 1.8 lbs. That seems like a good thing too, I guess.

I'm back. We will be moving soon, and driving for a week beginning on the 16th, so my goal for the next two rounds is to maintain. Losing a bit would be great, but I won't worry about that, esp. when we're on the road. Thanks again for this group!

I have been gone for awhile. And have fallen off the wagon for logging and my weight has shown it. Although I have not gained a lot back, it is enough to know I have been on this yoyo before. I appreciate BrightResolve for helping me on the straight and narrow without even realizing it. Today's weight is 137# and I will start with everyone else tomorrow!
