I really like the biathlon (rifle and cross-country) and bobsledding as well.
A recent Men's Health magazine issue had a write-up on our bobsledding men...those guys are jacked!
And the downhill skiing of course...and ski long jump.
lol...I guess I like most of the sports. I can't really think of one that I really DON'T like watching...but yeah...ice skating at the top.
I saw some of that last night. It seemed like a bunch of people were falling. I'm impressed by how they just pop right back up and keep going without missing a beat.
Figure skating and gymnastics are my favourite Olympic4 -

I love the way you can hear the blades of the skates cutting through the ice. They must have some great sound system in the arena.4

Ice skating for sure. I would prefer if they could choose whatever song they like vs. some of the classical put me to sleep stuff. LOVE the freestyle stuff where they can really show their skills-Scotty Hamilton backflip all the way!!!!1

Chloe Kim blew away the field and the crowd at the Pyeongchang Games in South Korea, winning the gold medal in the women's snowboard half-pipe. The win ticks another box in the career of Kim, who at 17 is already regarded as one of the best snowboarders in U.S. history.
Kim won with a score of 98.25, in a competition that never saw her trail another snowboarder. Her fellow American Arielle Gold won bronze, and Kelly Clark narrowly missed the podium after sitting in third place for two runs.

I'm boycotting the Olympic Games until Break Dance Fighting becomes a recognized Olympic sport.
... somebody needs to take a stand on this, right?1 -

Germans Unexpectedly Win Olympic Pairs Figure Skating
Aljona Savchenko and Bruno Massot of Germany unexpectedly won the gold medal in pairs figure skating on Thursday, rebounding from fourth place after the short program.
Savchenko broke into tears, punched the air, and broke down again as the winning pair received hugs from their fellow medallists. She finally won the gold after her 5th and probably final Olympic games. She won two Olympic bronze medals at Vancouver 2010 and Sochi 2014. Massot is skating in his first Olympic Winter Games at the age of 29.

Best story of the Olympics in my opinion.....
Norway's Simen Hegstad Krueger gave the skiathlon field a huge head start when he fell and broke a pole in the first 200 meters, falling to last place with 29 kilometers to go.
•He picked the other 67 racers off one at a time and with about 5 km to go he took the lead.
•He eventually built up a Ledeckian lead and coasted to an easy win in his first-ever Olympic event.

That reminds me of my first 10K race.
After most everyone else had finished, it was between me and a pregnant lady in a sprint to the line.
..... I came in third.0
