Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Enjoy family time if you get it.
DD#1 has found her mother, cousin, and grandmother in Russia. I hope the mother can give her what she wants; I certainly can't.
Take care all! Meg from sunny but cold Omaha8 -
Meg - wow - searching for family can be fraught with disappointment, I like you hope this helps her, either giving her something you can't or helping her see that what you have given her is so much more than she has understood.

Meg ... you gave DD#1 what the mother/grandmother/cousin in Russia couldn't or wouldn't years ago ... never forget that!!

Becca, Becca, Becca! You have a family of ELEVEN down the street! Ask them to give you a few hours work on moving day and bake them something wonderful in exchange. Use your resources, girl! Even young children can carry the lighter miscellaneous stuff or can be in charge of handing out cups of water or snacks to the ones who are strong enough. Your job is to supervise the loading! Remember, you have to unload when you get to your new home...save your back.8

Just discovered a new youtube vid Leslie Sansone 5K with a Twist very fast and sweaty. I've lost a couple of the pesky pounds, I'm still snacking but trying to snack on healthy stuff and doing loads of exercise, burned about 800 cals today. DH offered to buy me an Easter Egg and I said no. Waiting for my 12K KB to arrive, just completed the 5 week KB workout, think I need to try the presses with heavier weight
Happy Easter to everyone

Becca If you have a women's shelter they can use the sanitary supplies.

Kate - congratulations on completing the first 5 Week program! I know how exciting it is to get a new Kettlebell! Even if you feel stronger make sure that you make small changes so as not to injure yourself. Sometimes increasing the number of reps is just as valuable as increasing the weight. Never go over 10 reps though. If you can do 10 easily then for sure you need to increase the weight. I do go up 5 pounds at a time with the kettle bell because I am using both of my arms to do the swing. So in reality it's only 2.5 pounds per arm. I'm so excited for you!4

Hi, as you’ve probably noticed, I’ve taken down my MFP picture. As part of trying to secure my information I replaced it. Google, Facebook etc have facial recognition that can match your picture with other pictures of you. For example they can match your MFP picture with a DMV picture and that way link things together to get a fuller picture of who you are. It’s scary out there and it’s time for me to be more secure. Sorry guys, you’ll just have to remember my beautiful face.
Still in contact with DD. Will feel better when she is home tomorrow.
Bought some peeps today. They remind me of my mother.
Happy Easter beautiful women!

Morning everyone
Happy Easter Sunday from OZ
Terry - I never use my photo on social media - apart from the fact that I hate my photo being taken and only had 6 taken at my wedding some 38 years ago
Barbie - How will I find the new month ? I see some people put goals on during the month - do we set some personal goals each month - just wondering?
KateUK - I just found Leslie Sansone and have started on her 1 mile. Is there a series in youtube that you can follow?
Becca - I agree - surely the family of 11 can give you help moving the boxes downstairs after everything you have given them?
Meg - Where would DD1 be without you. You raised her. It is natural for her to wonder about her history - but remember - you are her mum in everyway that counts
Pip - thankyou for the wise words - everyone needs a reminder that life is not a dress rehearsal - you need to live life now
Margaret - Love the flowers
Today we are going to visit the parents (both dysfunctional sides). We will go down to DH's parents (who are in their 80's) for a cup of tea before shooting over to my sisters for lunch. My DH dislikes going down to see his parents as it depresses him. I sometimes wonder if he is scared that he is going to end up like them. They are never happy, never say a positive thing - everything is always negative. I have to keep telling him you need to do what you can whilst they are alive as there is no point when they have gone.
Then we are off to my sisters (the gathering will be my parents, sister and BIL, DS, ingis wife and 3 year old, Me DH and my son's 16 year old who lives with us). Generally if my parents are not at an occassion it is very relaxing and peaceful - but my mum likes to pick at people and when you say no that is not right - she then thinks the person is picking on her. It gets really bad when she drinks, so for Christmas last year, I bought alcohol removed wine and it went a lot better and she did not notice that it was non alcoholic. My sister and I take turns at hosting - it was her turn to host for Christmas this year and she has told me they can not stand another Christmas with my mum and are flying over the other side of Australia to see my sister
I often wonder about what it would be like to have a family that love to see each other and have no dramas. Then I hear about M from OZ and others praying for their family's health and it puts me in my box.

Oh jeez! He might not!!! And if he says something, just say,"oh you've just miscounted"!
You know I've told you all, my husband isn't fond of pets. Well MY plan is to have a cat, and call it PILLOW.
Husband: "Is that a cat on your lap?"
Me: "no no its just a pillow"
Husband: "why are you stroking it and talking to it?"
Me: "no no, I'm singing, and petting, on I mean, stroking his pillow puts me in my happy place".
Husband: *blink* *blink*
Well that's how I think the conversation would go....
OK bookshelves done, 7 kitchen drawers empty, 2 cabinets empty. We have 13 boxes of books, and 4 really heavy boxes of albums. I am using my clothes, bedding, and towels as filler. Also pillows! Now we need to buy more boxes!

I lost only 1.5 pounds of the 4 that are still lingering post January cruise. I had a full week of nagging back pain and this miserable Morton's neuroma.
Happy Easter. Blessed Passover. Happy Everyday. See you in April.

Terry ... I've done the same with my photo and I'm going to close my facebook account. There's not much on there to interest me any more ... shoot, I've turned off so many people that it's pretty much just me and the ads now anyways!
Trish ... you said: I often wonder about what it would be like to have a family that love to see each other and have no dramas. Then I hear about M from OZ and others praying for their family's health and it puts me in my box.
... I thought the same today ...

Trish from OZ I will post a link to the new thread so it will be easy to find. Just read to the bottom of the thread and you'll find it. Some of us have goals or resolutions for the month and some don't. It's all up to you. Some people have the same goals or resolutions every month to keep themselves on track.

Happy Easter to those already there. MFP and fitbit are being funky syncing today/tonight. I did overindulge, the product of not eating all day. We were busy at work, not enough water. About passed out at home depot, so snickers until got dinner. Then dinner at a tex mex place that was new to us but not our friends. The food was wonderful and the margarita was great. I knew I should have only eaten half the food, but was so hungry, that good decisions flew out the window. Had planned on prepping for tomorrow, but margaritas led to a nap......Hmmm, hopefully it was what I needed to get my bum back in action tomorrow.
Prayers for those in need!
Peace for those in turmoil.
Love for all,
Kylia resting in Ohio6 -
March goals
1) 120 is the goal. That may be a hard one, but what comes easy isn't always appreciated. (lost 50% of goal)
2 ) 10,000 steps a day. Gotta do it! (averaged 9049)
3) logging every day. I can't help others if i am not being honest with myself (some days shameful, but 100%)
4) Water! (work in progress)
5) Yoga- my masseuse says it is a necessity! She is giving my muscle balls names now! (will try again in April)
6) Sleep 7hrs per night. Spring is coming which will make this hard. I am already crazy busy, like an accountant at tax time! (Only succeeded 5 nights)
I reckon I need a word for March....I need to think on that....Positivity!
This will help me tomorrow set goals for April before family gets here. I am proud of my accomplishments. If goals were easily met they wouldn't challenge me to better myself.

Hi guys. Not saying much tonight, Doctor increase my Lyrica dose and I am a bit out of it. I just hope I can drive to,church tomorrow morning, Charlie said if I feel to loopy to wake him up and he will take me and then call him when I am ready to be picked up. But it has made a big difference in the pain level. So I really like that. I immediately noticed the change in the pain. I was taking 2 75 mg capsules so that was 150 mg. the mew capsule is 200mg. I guess I must have dropped a capsule because I saw Mozart trying to eat something under the coffee table. I got it and it was a Lyrica capsule. The top half of the capsule was collapsed so he had eaten into it. So far he seems ok. He has tried to terrorize Melody this evening. Right now they are both sleeping on the couch together which is there regular thing so he has not shown any adverse reaction if he did get any drug in his system. But I am enjoying the pain relief, just not the drowsiness.
I can't really reply to anyone because I can't really remember what was in anyone's post except Wemdy going shopping for a dress and got a horse. I mean, who does that????? He is beautiful
Miss my Mom this Easter. She would get us all together and would make me feel better, she died in 2011. I don't know which kind of death is worse. My Mom had cancer and we watched her suffer for 3 short months or my Dad died right after surgery. But we loved them both and know they are together.
Happy Easter and good night.

Went to my hematology appointment today. My hemoglobin which started at 4.3 went to 8.3 in hospital to 10.8 today. The doctor said that I don't have a blood disorder or the precursor to leukemia because I would not have been able to absorb the iron i'm taking. So, long story short, they checked me for cancer or bleeding in every organ and i'm have a clean slate and my body is accepting the treatment of oral iron supplement and high iron diet. This is proof that this dangerously low hemoglobin and hematocrit was due to a combination of poor nutrition intake, too quick of a weight loss (91 pounds in over one year), a bleeding hemorrhoid and over use of miralax because of fear i'd get constipated. Are health is so fragile, especially as we get older. Since I stopped weight watchers and joined MFP, following the diet given to me by my doctors I've lost one pound in I think 5 or 6 days. My goal is to lose .5pounds per week or less. i'm going to start working on my endurance again as i'm now having intermittent palpitations and shortness of breath with exertion. I'm going to take it slow and rest when or if I have any symptoms until I get my endurance back up.1
