The Transformers and GI Joe franchises being good, ecto cooler, those TMNT pudding pies, the good years of Marvel and DC comics, affordable trading cards. Back when Nintendo had merchandise all over the place.

Did anyone have those shoes with the little pockets on colored slime in the toes? Tried googling for what they were called & couldn't find it.

When cars didn't have air conditioning. Brutal.

My first car was a 1980 Chevy Monte Carlo with no A/C and crank windows. Brought it with me from Michigan when I went to University down here in Florida. It would also run a little hot when it sat in stop-and-go traffic, so in the summer I'd sometimes have to turn the heater on to bring the engine temp. back down. Good times.

Long straight hair with huge permed bangs.
I had the long straight hair and bangs but felt like such a loser bc my mom wouldn't let me get them permed. Just another one of the many times my mom ended up being right I guess...

Remember when Yahoo messenger, AIM, or MSN messanger was "social media"? I remember getting on after school to see "who was online". But only if no one had to use the phone, lol.

Rember old skool emoticons? Things like this:

*<(:^))8 = clown
@(:^) = Marge simpson
#(:^(|)= Homer simpson
@->-- = Rose
Or when people signed thier messenger accounts with those really elaborate ones that made pictures...

EDIT: When the @ or # symbol did not mean "link here"

When no one cared what was in ice cream. It was just ice cream and you enjoyed it with the family. There was one type of ice cream and it was called ice cream.

Now they're churning all these chemicals into the ice cream to juke the stats. I don't trust no 15 calorie Rocky Road. Stop making me spend 15 min in the ice cream aisle looking for the real ice cream I grew up on. Ok, I switched to Ben & Jerry's vegan ice cream a few years ago, but still.

YOLO
No cellphones and had to use a landline with those curly wires.
No Facebook
No instagram
When MySpace was a thing
No Snapchat
When women didn’t post nudes on the entire internet or in their underwear
When some men wore Ed hardy (think that was a thing)
When cabbage patch kids were a thing
When furbies were a thing
When we had those little trolls with the gem for a belly button and you were suppose to wish on them
Hey Arnold
Cat and dog
My life as a teenage robot
Kim possible
Little house on a prairie
I could go on and on 😂
