Vegetarian for life here. Used to be vegan, but wasn't getting enough protein in my diet and had to add eggs back in due to a digestive disorder.8

Am recovering from bowel restructuring surgery after a year of recurring diverticulitis- want to continue plant based but it’s really rough on my system right now so thought I’d get back slowly. Any thoughts?1

My wife just had the surgery.. a low fiber diet, with no seeds, nuts, or things like popcorn is ideal. Maybe try low fiber stuff like white rice, pasta, and protein sources.3 -

Pescatarian here but I'm always on the look out for vegetarian and vegan recipes6

Omnivore - like that you know what you like and stick to it. I have a friend who also eats meat - but they have a small farm and they eat what they’ve raised and fed and show kindness and grace to the animals , sounds hippieish I know but Much better than all the commercially raised products full of medicine.9

Vegetarian for 8 years, 5 of which were vegan. Ate meat for a few months to see if it would help my health, but it didn't so I stopped again0

Pescatarian here. I tried eating vegan for about six months and decided I didn't want it enough to give up cheese :-). I basically eat what I like, when I feel like it. Although technically, I eat eggs, I only want eggs maybe once a week. I have fish or some other seafood 1 to 2 times per week. The rest of the week, I eat vegetables, fresh and dried fruit, yogurt, whole grains, peanut butter and other nut products, oatmeal, etc.4

Vegetarian for the past 8 years (been vegan for 3 of those before, not now).0

Vegetarian here but educating myself to become vegan.4

Vegan for 4 months, I thought the hardest part would be giving up meat. it was not, the hardest for me was milk products. I have accidently eaten it 2-3 in the last 4 months by not reading labels well enough and once just not able to control my cravings for it. giving up meat was effortless, I dont miss it at all.5
