A lot of the "great deals" are because the item's stamp date is either very near or already past. If the item contains ingredients or oils that can go rancid/spoil/degrade, it's caveat emperor.
Got a great deal on some premium sardines last week, but with their three year shelf life expiration date occurring in two months, the quality of is definitely degraded from that same premium brand bought well within expiration date. Since they are for the dogs, it doesn't matter so much but it's worth noting that even for products traditionally thought to be fine years after the stamp date (there's a brisk market for "vintage" aged sardines out there), it's not necessarily the case anymore due to changes in processing/container materials/etc.
Great tips.

Pack of 10 5.5oz (55oz) honey roasted pistachios only 7 bucks!!!
Pack of 8 5.5oz chili pistachios only 7 bucks!
(This is a glitch in amazon ) I do these ALL the time! I got 2 packs of each for free so far.
You order it and if all items don't come you just chat or call customer service and say it clearly said in the description it was a pack of 8 or 10 and they either send you the rest or refund you making them completely free! Look at the description it says pack of 8 or pack of 10.
I even just chatted customer service now and sent them the link asking if this is indeed a pack of 8 or a pack of 1 and they said it's a pack of 8 and guaranteed thats what I will be getting so I screen shotted it for proof and ordered more . Pistachios are expensive!

Yay got all these for free . Deal is still working, description still is glitching.

Ooh! I love the chocolate brownie Quest bars! I hope my local GOs have them. I haven't been able to find standard Quest bars there in a while, but recently I found both Quest cinnamon cereal powder and Quest cookies and cream powder.2 -

For something that isn’t chocolate, I think it’s pretty good . I can see that the cereal pieces might be a take it or leave it kind of thing.2 -

The Cinnamon Crunch protein powder is really great! It has a buttery flavor... the pieces make it not the best for baking, etc. though3 -

I don't know if anybody here shops at Target often, my local Target has tons of grocery items on clearance, as well as lot of items on sale, like all cereal is 20% off with the Cartwheel app. Some things on clearance near me are Target brand protein pancake mixes (several flavors!), lots of nut butters, dried fruits, applesauce pouches, TONS of cheeses, etc. Basically every food aisle I went down had a bunch of clearance markdowns!2
