    I see your point, and this isn't JUST aimed at you, but I find the whole "REAL man" or "REAL woman" thing very cringe inducing. Some men are macho, aggressive, misogynistic etc. They're still a man, no more or less. Just a macho, aggressive, misogynistic man. Same with women. Every person who uses these phrases seems to think they have some unique new insight into the definition of man or woman. By all means, denounce bad stereotypes. If you're a man who respects women, cries, shows emotion etc, kudos. But don't just draw up equally tight definitions because it makes you feel better.
